Awesome! Thank you so much for this technique! I tried several times and realized this "Art history brush" tool doesn't work with just regular brushes. This tool works only for the special "Art history brush preset". I just downloaded your "Art History brush" and realized each brush has the "Art History brush icon on the upper light side corner and those brush only working well with Art history brush" tool!
Hey there! I was wondering if you might consider doing another tutorial, but this time focusing on that Stylar AI tool? I've been experimenting with it lately, and let me tell you, I'm seriously blown away by what it can do. The way it can take your ideas and turn them into these mind-bendingly realistic visuals is just incredible.
Great tutorial, I've learn something new. But just a question, when I reach the blend-if stage of the process, wouldn't it be easier to just import image to illustrator and trace image?
Hello, I've just noticed that is impossible to use the "oil paint effect" when putting the image mode in CMYK, is there a sort of way to overcome if you want to print the image after, knowing that CMYK mode is best when printing.
Very enlightening and I learned some new things, I've been working in Photoshop for 20 years, but I want to improve my skill levels, You do move a bit too fast, I had to keep rewinding to see which tools your choosing and where your getting them from. I cannot get the the new image to convert to the one I did on this tutorial. very frustrating.
you need to convert it to a smart object before making the selection. it is not actually transparent yet, it is just hidden using layer styles and needs to be converted to a smart object to be selectable
