Watched this many times all day--every move is fun to watch. A marvelous talent, Igor, and in a magnificent setting. Kudos to the edit & camerawork, superb!
Hey guys, love you all! Thank you so much for having us, it was one of the most special things in my life. I remember when I met Mattis two years ago in the Card Club and his passion and effort he put with Nick and Bruno in the event made me go to the 2023 event. An amazing experience that I want to share with all of the spanish guys and all together tried to bring all the love we receive in the things we do for the event and the whole community. Thank you so much for creating one of the most special things in the world. (so sad for not being able to the Bruno's concert that would make even a more special moment) (and yeah, all the spanish guys shouting was only to try to encourage Lucas at first time and make him nervous at the end hahahaha. Sorry for all the issues we cause and sorry to the silly neighbour)
Another insane event! A really cool moment for me was Till on saturday evening. He was coaching both me and Christiaan to find ideas to do for round 2 of ECC. Super cool jam 💚
Great episode - loved that idea about a general main cardistry hub where one could find info about previous cardistry con winners or milestone videos/highlights of the community - I also really liked Nicks perspective on the variant deck from LIH - Like more exclusive yet more accessible than other mystery decks, had never thought about it that way but great points! I wish I could make it to XP this year unfortunately it wasn’t in the stars for me this time around - I look forward to seeing all the fun you guys have throughout that weekend - kind regards
So happy to have you listening, Luis! We'll make sure to post a bunch of stories on Instagram throughout the weekend, so it'll be just like you're there with us. Hope we get to see you there next year! 🙌😊
Hey, the weather guy here: I'm almost sure (90%) you mentioned the classrooms but not the base decks The damn good cards don't offer different finishes, only thin crushed. They sell them as the best finish for a "cheap" deck
Haha okay, thanks for fact checking that for us! 😅 Can't wait to try the different finishes of the base decks soon! Do you think it will be financially sustainable to offer a deck in two finishes continuously?
@@cardistryexperience hahahaha it's ok. I just opened some of them and they are really good. That's a good question, I assume to make the decks as cheap as possible they have to make a lot of them and if the project doesn't meet the expectations of the people could be really problematic but I think the only ones that can do this at this point are Missing. I also think the Linen finish decks should be cheaper for them than the smooth ones because I excpect they do more of those ones and the price per deck should be lower and being made in China could make the difference in terms of profitability.
Sounds reasonable, thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's definitely gonna be interesting to observe how that's going to develop, big up to Missing for even giving it a shot!
Thanx for your speedy response and to make thinks worse I have some gaps between my fingers which makes it a little tougher to hold some cards but have had some success by soldgering on.@@cardistryexperience
