Andrew, my mk8 GTI was in with the dealer just last week for an upgrade to the software and whilst it was in they removed the engine cover saying it was a recall on all mk8 GTI and R models because of them coming loose, making contact with hot parts on the engine an causing a compartment fire. Perhaps you are already aware...
This is well known and has been since January. All Golfs have left the factory without this cover since February. Replacements will not be available until May. Old "news"..................
I love the look of that Akrapovic exhaust, it looks menacing. I have heard though that it doesn't make that much difference. Hankook tyres 🤦♂️ even Ford stick PS4S's on the new ST. That is poor from VW.
@@visionsinblue7093 On the previous video Adrian did on this car, and he has had it in stock a long time, he said the original owner had a Golf 7.5 as well as this car and he liked the 7.5 better, hence Adrian having this car for sale. It's too expensive and there is a safety recall on it lol.
Nice looking motor, some nice touches over the standard Clubsport, don't you fancy keeping this one and selling your CS. . . .how many takes before you said harman kardon! 😂
It's tempting but got my CS so cheaply before prices rocketed so it would cost me a lot more for a virtually identical car. I think I'll just say H&K, it's a lot safer :)
