I for one enjoyed the video. It was also very informative. I have a small home (450 sq. ft.) and the first foundation company recommended underpinning in the 4 corners of my home. 1 underpin in each corner. Does this sound normal for a small home of this size? He claimed the footer is cracked.

Unfortunately, she gave them a copy of her deed (idk the specifics), so the “quick deed” was now under the company’s name, & she became the squatter of someone else’s home. Terrible!! I believe all of your potential scenarios if the contractor is not researched properly.

Uh we asked our contractor many times, he said we don't need one. City came shut him down. Now like the guy below me, they are hiring an architect to give the city a stamped plan. Said they won't be back at least for a month. They left behind more damage and its more unsafe than it was when it was rotten. It a breezeway between the house. Bullshit, I pay you, and your advertising your licensed and insured, why should I do the leg work? That's what I'm paying for damnit. I would've just done it myself. No answers here at all. Typical, lay it at the feet of the homeowner. How many guys got hurt working for you, where you turned around and sued the owner. Great for your business. If you want it done right. This sound like a mess!!! Based on your statements this company has a lot to answer legally!!! These things don’t have to be complicated. Reach out to the contractors regulatory agencies on your state. In California it is the Contractor State Licensing Board. They will be able to start an investigation, and it is simple and easy to prove that everything you are saying actually happened. The contractor will be on the hook for many of the damages that you listed here… His bond will pay you up to 15k…. The problem is trying to collect the rest of it from these losers! Flight-by-night companies are all over, and Government agencies cannot keep up! The saddest part is that the homeowners get the short end of the stick, because the laws are written to protect the corporations, not we the people!!! It all starts with the corrupt politicians that work for the corporations, not to you and I!!! We the people have to fight back. Call your local representative and explain that because of the laws they instituted, now you are in a bad spot!!! Demand changes!!! Meanwhile, protect yourself! Get a good dispute attorney or RE attorney, you will need one if people got hurt on your job! This is no joke! People lose their homes over this! We wish you the best fighting this.
