How unfortunate that a high school would seek to inculcate and encourage the repulsively entitled behavior of this loathsome character. Is she appreciative of the efforts of the "provincial" losers who were awake and working hours earlier in order to gather the eggs and bake her the bread so important to her daily survival? No, she's too busy rolling her eyes and smirking at them, albeit in such a charming manner! How much did you pay for that wonderful book you value so much, Belle? Nothing -- one of those lamentable saps gave it to you for free. And you can tell how much she values it by the way she carelessly lets a passing animal vandalize it within minutes. Finally, how does she repay the Beast's kindness when he overlooks the way she essentially trespassed in his house and ate his food without permission? By immediately going to the one part of the castle he tells her to keep out of, interfering with the magic rose and putting his life at risk as a result. But hey, that's okay! She likes to read -- almost as much as a contemporary Karen likes to text while driving. How dare such fine upstanding people be challenged!
