Hi, no i didn't have to unscrew it,only on the catalyst.

@@rembik27 thank you a why you unscrew the catalyst? Have you a noncat pipe or couldn't connect a new exhaust to the end of the exististing pipe instead of the old exhaust?

@@rumisekM I did not remove the catalyst, just loosened the screws to make it easier to adjust the new exhaust, I do not remember exactly what I did because it was a long time ago:)

Yes, the piece had to be cut because it stuck out, but the seat didn't get hotter.

@@rembik27 Thank you very much, i couldnt finish to install my leovince exhaust because i wasnt sure i have to cut the heat protector.
