My little space on the RU-vid part of the internet. Its nothing fancy, just me uploading stuff I find interesting, and what makes me happy, and that latter point is important! Mainly garden railway material, and in and outs and up and downs of the little folk and the the trains of the GCLR, made into little stories to help make people smile. The GCLR sometimes goes on tour too
What it also does is help me work out how video material is made, I learn how to edit material, its all interesting to me, BUT non of it is serious, its light hearted and meant for fun.
So get your self a cup of tea or coffee and a snack, we like best of all, and watch the GCLR and the things they get up too.
Well again the team has been very busy as usual, glad those pesky seeds have been removed, they are a bane of dogs paws too ,can be very painful 😢 love to see the helicopter as we called them as a youngster as the linden trees drop the seeds , but they are a nuisance! Perhaps Linden Station would be a good name for the station. Think more tea will be needed to be brewed for the Lads now Autumn seems to be taking a hold . Looking forward to the Grand Opening of the new line 😊

The restaurant coach certainly is impressive! NVR's most recent addition to the wagon lits coach set with restoration finishing a few years ago. Restored by the international preservation group alongside the youth group. (Volunteers under the age of 17) they've certainly done a terrific job! 😊
I was really struck by that too, and what they do is impressive, but in addition the volunteer team create the right balance of enthusiasm, passion, commitment, without being to in your face, I will certainly be going back, I was very impressed. Yea that Billy Stringer is a often admired by the ladies, he may me back again now he has sussed things out. There is a bit of tension that you can feel between Ms Fritton and Nancy, I hope they can find a way through
The FeckHallBahn’s management have agreed this. Where a guard is visible to signallers AND in the rearmost vehicle of a consist that there is no need for a tail light (daylight working only). Fika and cinnamon buns. You’re making me nostalgic for my days in Sweden!
Thanks Nigel I like that rule, and have proposed to the Safety Inspector we include that in the next Rule Book update. In this episode even the guard was missing as well so will have to ensure I recruit a new one from next exhibition. I think you should go get some nice cinnamon buns, and have a Fika moment on your bench, one late summer/early autumn morning and watch the milk train do its run, and relive those Sweden times.

@@mrowl-the-dsm1304 Would you believe... Yes I love mountain biking, and as i'm sure Steve has mentioned, I love music too. But another little joy of mine, that's currently side lined due to lack of time and space, is model making! I love a good Tank kit, where I can get crazy with the weathering, or equally love a good race car kit where I can pick out details and upscale to make more realistic. So I absolutely appreciate the work that goes into keeping any sort of model railway running, let alone an outdoor set up!

@@mrowl-the-dsm1304 I built some lovely kits through lockdown, definitely kept me sane then! Even did a couple of commissions for friends who'd had kits as unwanted gifts, or models of their dream cars! Sadly, my builds have become broken dust collectors now, but I will jump back in when I have moved house soon and have more space.

I feel for Harold too, but things may change for the better for him..... The stock came from another railway, but not sure of its full name, Perhaps with the arrival of Ms Fritton recently, these could be the 'Fritton Light Railway'
Hello The locomotives are bought 'off the shelf" apart from the Railcar which Miss Fritton rides in that is a kit and built up Other wagons and coaches seen are all kit built or from scratch Thanks for watching too. GCLR

Great video. On a personal note I always like a static camera and just watching the train pass, something which you do. I find videos were people insist on swinging the camera around trying to follow trains to often be almost unwatchable. Keep up the good work.

Well another busy day. Nervous Nancy think I spied eating Gaytons delights ( she knows you know ) , but I was so busy watching the trains didn’t have time to partake of such goodies ,minute on your lips forever on your hips ,take heed dear Nancy ,don’t want Burt going off you . Hello The track is laid on decking board made from recycled plastic. ( mainly the black stuff which is harder to recycle) where there is a incline on the railway as there is at Allans Way Halt 00:15, I have used stones and recycled glass from LCD TVs The GCLR is a very environmental railway!
Well a bit of a catch up for me 😊things have been busy in the garden railway, love the new carriage ,strawberries and cream lovely colour ideal for the summer I think . Nervous Nancy isn’t so nervous these days,perhaps because love is in the air , need to choose one of the “ lads “ no two timing . 😇keep up the good work lads your doing a great job.
