If anyone's interested, the location of the offices for Dreamtime Escorts, Jolly's fluffy toy business and Heimey Henderson's off licence was at 22-24 Cowper street EC2A 4AP. Nearest tube is Old Street on the Northern Line. The warehouse building was converted to flats long ago but if you look hard enough you can imagine it. When I win the lottery, I'm buying the flats that correspond to the offices and I'm going to do re-enactments with the drink delivery lorry. 😃
ps If I win big enough I'll convert them back to grotty warehouse office suites and get Heimey Henderson's going again as an actual off licence. Then buy the rights to Jolly and do a good re-mastering job for Bluray and do a documentary and interviews for extra features. The packaging will have photos, dialogue segments and various collectables bundled. I'll also do a vehicle collection somewhere, which will feature actual or replica Dreamytime van and Lovebucket's SM, plus other motors like the Withnail Jag and such like. Hope that I win folks !
Gunyons Yamaha and Robin Powell Honda in Faversham, Graveney Motorcycles Suzuki & David Brown Kawasaki in Canterbury all gone now, such a shame. Will you be doing MOTs?
Amazing, the unique engine sound takes me back, I was a proud owner of a 125 RD around 1975 it was my daily to work and all over the place, fantastic to experience that sound again, Thanks.
Cheers....unless you own or have owned a two stroke in your life you can't appreciate the noise and smell of one ...especially when it hits the powerband...check out my channel There are a few more on there. Vic
Yes ,I built this bike from scratch. I started with a pair of yamaha TR3 barrels that I had for years, and then I bought the Rd rolling chassis with a decent bottom end in it again from Newark auto jumble and away we went. I had the bike in standard red and white yamaha colours. I reckon it cost me over 5grand from start to finish. Cheers A P Bedford
@anthonybedford8553 my engine tuner and friend John Floyd did the engine work...I welded tz exhaust fittings onto the new barrels I located because the original ones were replaced with shit chinese copies...John ported and tuned it...I fitted race ignition and swarbrick pipes to the bike... It was over 60bhp at the rear wheel...does fly now and sounds proper
That front mudguard came from mead speed it's a tz copy but it cost over 200quid year's ago. The fairing was a genuine tz C, again Newark auto jumble I think I paid 100quid for it . The tank was from France I paid 350 for it and that was about 17yrs ago. The ignition was motoplat. Cheers.
😅That's my bike I built that bike from scratch, I can identify it from! The big sump to tank i bought from France, steel fork top bobbins, front fairing bracket and scitsu bracket.. rearset footrest plates and folding footrests, rear wheel hub drilled between spoke holes and I drilled rear brake plate. Seat mounting brackets I welded in place. Tz rear mudguard I welded in brackets. Brake mastercylinder I got from Newark auto jumble. Replica aluminium to front mudguard I bought new. When I sold the bike it had motiv pipes, new 34mm mikuni,s. No kick-start mechanism and cut away oil pump housing on clutch cover. Had a lockhead front brake caliper. Forgot what ign was. Right hand frame tube near carbs was cut out and bent to match otherside and welded back in. Etc etc I have all fotos. A.P.Bedford. tonyrocket3@hotmail.co.uk
2kr did seem unkillable. my first 3ln was a lemon. figured it out at last but omfg, five gremlins at the same time. now i can do the valve seats :) weee.
What a gorgeous bike. I'm 63 y.o. and would give two years of my life to have it, if I have any left. Please keep it naked, looks soooo sharp as it is...
street legal....let me guess...in the uk? it seems like you can get a flyin carpet with a 3-stroke engine street legal there 😅 - But the bike is really nice i have to say!
It's a petrol head country and unlike Europe where they are so Anal with regulations we can do most things as long as it doesn't take the piss....some things are on the boarder line though lol
Hello, I build specials from customers bikes or can locate bikes and build to your budget...every bike is different and hand built... The state of tune depends on how reliable you want it and how big your under carriage is....these go from 45hp at the rear wheel to over 80hp at the rear wheel, the air cooled bikes can be taken up to around 65hp and the stroker LC engine over 80hp. Cheers Vic
@@vicsclassicautos that is impressive! I am putting together a 1980 Yamaha TZ 125. I need tires for it but can only find the rear and that is too wide to use as the front because it rubs on the fairing while braking. I am looking for a 80-90x18. Any idea where I can find tires for my TZ? Thank you!
Cool stuff! I've got an RD I'm hoping to drop a banshee motor into, but how did you find expansion chambers to suit the different (ATV) cylinder mounts??
Love your bike it's engineering excellence. Very well put together well sorted bike with beautiful engineering and stunning looks..that sounds lush to.
@@vicsclassicautos cool...I used to have a Kawasaki kh100ex I used to get off the Speedo downhill..great fun and after that a cagiva mito 125 I used to get 110mph indicated..flat on the tank..good days.
Love it but unless you are jumping it lower it so it handles on street better. By looks of tires it is street bike not dirt bike, why 12.inches of travel? Other than suspension height that is a proper looking crotch rocket and looooove 2 strokes
