@wcf3x Thanks for your answer! So you came with 8 friends or did VHSG mix you with some other guys to get a private ship of eight? If so, how could they be sure that all have the same skills? Never been in AK only Canada/B.C. for some kind of steep camps and we're looking for exactly the kind of runs you did in that vid and in "Chugach Sampler Skiing March 2010". I'm jealous of you guys!!!

@AkRocket This skiing was done with Valdez Heli-Ski Guides. It was done on a private ship with two groups of four on the ship (eight total). Their prices are listed on their website, but you have to book pretty far ahead to get in with them as a private. On this trip we had three full down days, two 'window shopping days' (skiing short hops in partly cloudy conditions) and three bluebird days. This is about average, but certainly can be a lot worse too.

Cool!! How much did you pay for that trip and how big are the groups (5 persons)? Could you ski all day or did you have down days? We're looking for a heli company that offers such steep and challenging terrain.
