I have observed a lot of color variation of the Golden Crown on these Sparrows. Some of the Crowns were Bright Yellow, others mid- toned Yellow and some like in this Video a very muted dirty looking Yellow. Anyone else seen the same color variation.?
Noticed them at the feeder with a bunch of Juncos. They're still three of them showing up every morning and night, in late April - the Juncos and all the others are gone.
