It’s the 2.0 thread count that makes it something no one uses. I know the metric system lol. I’ve said it’s superior over and over on this channel. But the thread pitch used on that part doesn’t exist elsewhere.
I been there before.1986 BMW 535i.When i got the car back in 1994 the car was low 140000km Did check the car before purchasing in BMW garage with good reputation.The car ''did not need much''.But in short few weeks the story began; both fuel pumps failed, fan motor failed ,gas tank failed ,Subframe bushings failed,Gaz filled brake booster failed ,air conditioning failed,computer failed. I did drive it for about 55000km Total cost about $6000 Before a big one came on again it was once again air conditioning and front end est. cost $5000 So i gave up. Keep in mind that Any BMW will be your for ever project car and MONEY PIT !
Pretty insane build. And when I say insane, I mean both from a "wow" perspective and a "crazy" perspective. I don't understand why drop $100-150 on a car, just to tear it up and have absolutely nothing that resembles the original car in the first place? Not my money, so I'm not mad. Just trying to understand.

Umm… As a 20yr aviation mechanic on everything from a C-5 to C-152 I have *never* had an issue with an AN fitting. You are making your lines too short.
2:00 i have never seen such a worthless product and blatant fucking rip off in all of my days. How in the fuck do they manage to convince people that spending $700 (or whatever the fuck it costs) on this tool kit is a better option than just crimping a fitting on one end of an uncut hose and routing it to it's destination and then just cutting it to length in-situ. You are literally playing yourself by using this product, in the time it would take you to measure and build a 4 foot hose run with this kit, you could have already finished the run in question and 3 other hoses if you just measure them in place. I am actually offended by this product; but then again i very well should not be, because A/N wrenches do exist after all THAT BEING SAID: Everything else that dym produces is extremely nice. I think the mock up kit is just the unfortunate result of a small business owner trying too hard to be original and innovative while not having anyone around him to tell him when one of his ideas is shit
It might be a dumb question Mike but is it feasible to run a dry deck and fire rings like they do in drag racing on the head block surface to stay safer at high boost?
Back in the 80's my friends and I managed to follow the Circuit of Ireland with the Sport Quattro's operating at full chat. Absolutely nuts in the hands of the professional drivers. We were also allowed to get up close to the cars and drivers at the service points along the way. Today I have a 2007 A6 S Line 2.7TDI Quattro right hand drive Le Mans Speck. Did not know what I was buying at the time on the Le Mans Speck, but boy does it go and roasts most anything in the wet on back roads. You just keep on the gas even though it is a diesel, it's amazing. Certainly won't be selling it any time soon and it has 160,000 miles on it. The Quattro system in in my opinion unmatched.
@@stanceworks Sorry, I appreciate you have help from the sponsor there, but I've probably made 1000s of hydraulic hoses in mining for our machines as a breakdown and service fitter. Once you know length increase with the hose crimp, you can make hoses down to within 5mm of perfect with just a tape. I guess for the average 'once every now and then' situation, the kit would make it easier, but I'm guessing it is a pretty penny. * Edit - $2000usd for the multi size kit 😳
This is similar to what Audi Team Joest implemented on the Le Mans conquering LM cars. It allowed them to quickly do transmission changes during race conditions efficiently
Randy Po bst can drive the car and tell you where it is and how and what to adjust. Tuning the suspension and the driver.......cutting the learning /tuning time by an extrodinarly amounts.
