Emotionally Healthy Discipleship (EHD), is a groundbreaking ministry that equips pastors and leaders with a new leadership paradigm that integrates emotional health and contemplative spirituality.
Emotionally Healthy Discipleship was birthed out of the realization that key areas were missing in the church's spiritual formation/discipleship initiatives. Over an 18-year period, these missing elements were identified and were found to be applicable around the world as essential to engaging in deep, beneath-the-surface spiritual formation. This is grounded in the conviction that genuine growth cannot help but release the life and gifts of God through His people out into the world.
Mission of Emotionally Healthy Discipleship (EHD):
Our mission is to equip people and churches in a deep, beneath-the-surface, spiritual formation paradigm that integrates emotional health and contemplative spirituality.
I, we can practice more listening and asking questions to others whose perspectives are different or disagrees with ours. I wonder though if there is a time to judge actions/behaviors of others like when Paul confronted Peter for pulling away from the gentiles. Of course we aren’t to judge people as that is God’s business but aren’t there times where we need to speak up about behaviors that are against what God is about?

👍 Wish I had known this when I was teaching high school. Staff meetings were so long and boring and pointless. And thank you for the Aaroninic blessing at the end 🙏✝️
@@ehdiscipleshipThank you for responding. I signed up for the class 2 weeks ago and have been listening to the podcast and seen the videos. I really liked the video on the office. One thing I've started doing is whenever I get very stressed Just telling Alexa one minute. I try not to pray. I'm just really trying to listen to God that has really helped. I've been caregiving for 8 years. My dad died 2 years ago and my mom had a stroke a year ago. For over 20 years while I taught high school I had a very good and strong spiritual routine. Read the Bible many times. But since caregiving all that went out the window. My prayer has been to get back to daily prayer , meditation and reading the Bible. Started the workbook last night and it just brought me so much joy. It's an answer to a prayer to getting back to Bible study. Thank you guys for all your effort. Jehovah bless abundantly in Jesus name ✝️🌷
Thank you for sharing your journey with us, @crstepstudy. May the Lord continue to guide you and strengthen you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. -EHD Team
I first came into contact with your book in French and ever since every thought word phrase seems to affect me deeply in a way I never expected nor felt before .at present emotionally health text and the bible are the two things that makes sense to me ny brain and to the disorder in my brain . Honestly I’m eternally greatful each day to know more and see my life experiences through your eyes which well describes my life at 32
It's wonderful to hear how the book has impacted you, @rennieplacide3162, and we're grateful to be a part of your spiritual journey. Thank you for sharing here. -EHD Team
Thank you for this content. I've shared this 2 part series with some men at my church; all of them have been really thankful for this perspective, and I see it changing their pursuit of Jesus!
I really appreciate your messages about slowing down. But I'm surprised you mention Jesuits - both here and in your book. Do you have a Catholic background?
Religion is litteraly lies and abuse of power but nice try I hope this masquarade will be a good placebo for those who need it but don't be fooled by the hate religion can give you against innocent people like lgbt people who are litteraly killed by religious persons...
Thank you for this! You’re the first to explain in a clear way why it’s called a “rule” that was hanging me up lol. Great communicator & writer. One quick suggestion- the audio seems a bit off on this video (mostly panned to the left). Anyway, thank you for creating video content & I hope you keep developing it! God bless!
