The big problem is that you are forced into absurdly low cadence to do endurance rides on an air bike. I don't understand why there are hardly any magnetic resistance full body bikes. They are silent and you can combine ANY resistance and cadence to mimic any training from high cadence sprinting or endurance, low or high cadence climbing, etc. Silent full body bikes are a huge untapped market I wish companies would take advantage of... Anyone know of any besides the absurdly expensive Keiser full body bike?
There’s no way in hell Matt was clean. Winning 5 in a row. I’m sure CF would go out their way to help and cover up for their cash cow.. now speaking from their high horse…
I grew up in Cali in the 80s and it was great. But it’s definitely gone downhill. Colorado is going the same route unfortunately. Utah is nice because you get the mountains without the left-wing politics. But, there are restrictions because of the predominance of Mormons.
I think this is so wrong and pitiful. That people try to claim the crossed clean because it’s not it may be years down the road all these people come on so you know what all if you were on stuff we’re on steroids and just color for what it is because the physiques and performance that these people put out which I would give to a few because of gifted, genetics and hard work, but not as many has been pumped out as across the game claims out to be, I would maybe 10 people in the singles division, male and female natural because genetics at hard work but everyone else lab grown
I guess it really depends on sponsor revenues, ad revenues, and all the other streams of income from the games. How much does Reebok, rogue, etc make in their increased sales from the sponsorship and ad exposure from the games? I’m guessing a lot, but who knows. If it really is a big revenue stream for them, they should be able to negotiate sponsors kicking in prize money, and if the numbers make sense they would willingly do it. More prize money = better competition = growth of the sport = more views and exposure = more revenue for sponsor companies as a direct result of the growth of the games. It’s not complicated, the sponsors probably are happy just making big revenues and not having to kick in anything in return.
My favorite is Christian bale still driving his base 2003 Toyota Tacoma because it just works, and he can carry something in the back if he needs to lmao
Eddie Gallagher was a medic performing what's called a cricothyroidotomy; a procedure where they poke a hole through the trachea (wind pipe) in order to insert an airway adjunct. Once he died, he essentially became a human cadaver. And yea, it's standard medical practice to perform/practice on human cadavers - that's how they get better at their craft. Also, this "boy" was an ISIS fighter, not some innocent child.
Weakness invites aggression. Whether physically or mentally, individuals need to develop all their personal skills. It's called resilience. And also, everyone feels "bullied" at several points in their lives, including as adults (some instances are legit, many are not...). Regardless, those instances should be used as a catalyst for growth and improvement. We need to stop the culture of glorifying victimhood for social credit. Wallowing and seeking pity are not noble attributes.
This might convince some naive normies but anyone who knows anything about CrossFit knows about the extent of PED use and the ease you can pass the drug tests.
I love how people here assume other sports training doesn't hurt! Majority of sports at the highest level require your level fitness to be extremely amazing! I'm sure NHL and NBA players will say " Crossfit you peak for a 3 week event. Try 82 games, playing every other night, them fitting in weigjt training and working on your weaknesses, not to mention the back to backs, flying to different times zones, weather etc...I'd live for Josh to line up as a runnjng back and Lawrence Taylor or Ray Lewis is looking to take tour head off. Tell me how much that doesn't hurt. Just have respect for the other sports. If I was judging crossfit and how much it hurt or how difficult it was based on 99.9% of the people who do it, I'd say it's easy and doesn't hurt as well!!! Every crossfit box I've been to, there maybe 2 or 3 people who work hard, other than that the weights are light AF, they don't ever do a true AMRAP, So I'd think it was a joke! Not to mention every one of these dudes are juicing but try to pretend they're high-and-mighty and don't do it but s*** on the people who got caught! I just can't stand more people s*** on other Athlete's sports of choice without ever doing it at the highest level and then s*** it on it! Like I said if I judge crossfit based on 99.9% of the people I see do it I would say to joke too.
"I don't care about gender roles" says the guy whose success has literally been dependent upon traditional gender roles. "I text Sami and lunch is on the table when I get home."
‚Levers and physics…‘ come on. Tall people just do more distance in all vertical movements. They just can shine in all horizontal ones. Therefore small dudes win the open but tall ones can excel at the games (a lot more horizontal movements).
Yeah all the commentators. Its what you give airtime, rich froning is still competing, not talking shit or going on podcasts. Come on Fraser, do more brah instead you complain. Why aren't you like froning. Talk about adaptive athletes on your show, and why aren't you training them? Is there something wrong?
