Awesome video. I have been thinking about getting one. I want to know more about the actual range that you get and how fast the wall vs the dedicated charger gets you. Thanks for the info in this video!
So I only charge to 80% (263 miles). My wife takes the car and she drives about 80 miles a day from home to work and back home. So at night we have about 125 miles left in the car. We plug it in once she gets home and it takes about 3-4 hours before it is back to 80% again.
Hey Nikesh , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
I work for a rental car company and we have all sorts of EV's. We have both the 3 and Y, the Volvo c40, Bolt and Genesis G80. Of all of them, I rented a Y for a 3 day weekend and my entire outlook on Tesla and the car flipped like a switch and I said to myself, "I have GOT to get me one of THESE!!!!!" Well, that was about the same time you did this video and within the next week, I will be just as happy as you were in this video and for a plethora of many reasons. Kudos to you and happy trails!
It's like a lot of other stuff Tesla does, and has done. They just don't care how "it's always been done". Usually it works out pretty good for them, occasionally there is some mild to moderate customer heartburn, and rarely, some fails. As someone in their mid-50s, who has nonetheless worked in the tech space for most of their adult career, I think I'm the dividing line demographically for these different processes. I'm picking up a MYLR 2023, on 30-Aug. The sales process has been mostly fine, but a little odd at times. While I appreciate the app (and they have that process locked down), there's that old school part of me that wants more face-to-face. Or something. I'm not quite sure yet. There's a clinical impersonal-ness that is efficient but still a little off-putting. The delivery day experience will seal the deal, or not. My wife is even more old school than me and I hope that things go smoothly to set a positive impression.
Congratulations! I am still sitting on the ICE fence so to speak. I am really interested but not sure about taking that EV leap. It seems like the price of gas continues to climb! Have you looked at old monthly gas cost and compared it to your now “electric cost”?
Picked up my MYLR last month and love it! It is a joy to drive and plunging it into my garage each night is awesome. I wave at the peeps in the long gas lines at Costco everytime I shop there. lol
Someone the other day asked me if I know the price of gas and that's when it hit me that it's been over a month and a half and I have no idea how much gas costs anymore 😂
I'm almost there just a little hesitant because they don't have the parking sensors and use Tesla Vision instead. How are you feeling about Tesla Vision so far?
Tesla Vision isn't quite there yet. Without the parking sensors, the park assist kind of sucks. But because of the camera, I been really good at backing into parking spots so there is that lol
No, it's the people that buy EV's that don't understand. You do realise that the electricity you use to charge your EV is created by burning coal etc.. So you are not doing shit for the environment champ.. Paying all that money to travel a shorter distance and wait in line to charge.. Have fun with that shit
Awesome video! Shows that I have been lacking on my reading! I also just got my copy of the Ramit Sethi book! A book I recommend is “The Power of Mental Discipline” by Ian Tuhovsky.
Thanks, bro! You should definitely start reading the Ramit Sethi book. It was a great read. And I will have to check out “The Power of Mental Discipline” by Ian Tuhovsky
@@nikeshchapagain3731 It’s more of an autobiography, but there is this book called “Breathe” by Rickson Gracie. It’s nothing motivational, but it is a good moral lesson.
