It is SO much better than a traditional hip replacement! I am 5 weeks post-anterior hip replacement on my right hip. I was back at work at 4 weeks, talking daily walks, loving life without the arthritis pain. Other colleagues of mine were off work for 3 months! Don't delay your surgery - and find a surgeon in your area who can do the anterior approach.
