I've just got home and it was good but I'm so confused!!! Why were you selling coal, or drawing it, or becoming it!? Why was Audrey being beaten up and put in the freezer!? Why was she suddenly the wicked stepmother!? Why does the pram roll away!? Who fell in the water!? Did I need to do actual research before this!? I've never read Greek plays!? WHAT IS GOING ONNNN! It was good but it felt like I was missing 20 minutes of context! The lady beside us said it was pretentious, but I don't even know what that was about! HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!

Actually at 39:54 , no. Religion has not caused most wars in the world. You can find the lease of all the words recorded in history, and only 7% -at most- are considered religious wars. Most wars concern conquering land to have access to resources, wars of independence, political and economic ideology domination wars. My source is the encyclopedia of wars by Oxford University.

As someone who has only recently started looking into this conflict, I still carry the moto of "2-state solution". 2-state, 2-state, 2-state. This video clearly outlines why 2-state is not only impossible... it is a stall tactic to usurp even more land. Isn't it time to create a single country for everyone? Israelis won't like it but if they want peace, there is no other choice.

Theatre indeed. This man’s doublespeak is in fact serving the status quo through his casual dismissal and opposition to any two state solution, brushing it aside. Posing as a dissident voice, he is serving the regime Duplicitously serving the status quo, the regime. Posturing to neutralize independent media « influencers » by pushing the one state agenda deadlock. His unease betrays him. Fails to convince.
I am an autistic adult with a theater background and have autistic teens/young adults that love theater, too. I am late to find this, but it is so exciting. I have ordered a copy of the play and cannot wait to read it. Hoping there might be a suitable piece for my 17 year old spectrum daughter to do for a college scholarship audition.
My Grandfather was Geoffrey Golden throughout my childhood I heard from him that working for Madam Knebel was the true highlight of his 40 year career at the Abbey. I since my childhood always wanted to know about Madam Knebel. I will go to Moscow and learn more. Thank you for this podcast .
