Man, I miss this place! Even though I came every other Sunday. Just like the Skate N Place, it has a lot of memories. RIP Robert Randle, thank God & thank you for your vision of Peoria Palace.
Watched alot of jb skaters smooth is always on beat I mean always no matter what the move....thats why I think he's the best..his backwards skating really smooth and on beat..Great skater!!!!
Hi, I'm here in Brazil and would like to go on skates ideal for this type of sport. What is the best wheel size? How hard is the wheel? What is the ideal bearing? What is the ideal brand for someone who has been practicing for a year?
Thank you very much for your interest! The wheels are 98A-101A. Ideal bearings can be Bone Reds, or Cube bearings. We use Riedell brand SK8TS. Here's a video breaking things down. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wdS_RuYR8gU.html
Man can yal make some tutorials a routine consisting of the jb basics? Four corners, stan the man, bucky walk, and the sissy strut. These sliw paced videos are a breakthrough for me.
@@QuadCityCuttaz yessah I was at the rink yesterday doing some Jb I was actually in a group of 4 syncing the moves in. One thing I was scared of doing was the 360 jump 😆 im heavy asl and doin that I could barely get off the ground I said to myself nah I’m good on that part lmao regardless if the women are lookin
@@Tylahbtw That's what's up!! You from there? Because whenever we went there nobody really like to share anything, haven't been since all the Covid stuff. But, I hear you on that Jump takes some time gettin used to. We found tryin stuff off SK8TS first help the execution of the difficult moves. Hopefully that will help you out!!
@@QuadCityCuttaz ain’t from there I’m from the 813 but yeah the jumping might not be my thing maybe because I’m not athletic enough. We do be active at Astro skate tho. the one in Brandon Fl. Our version of Jb skating isn’t as extreme but the popularity of that style there is growing for sure.
toe spins and "the grapevine" have been my biggest problem. I'm glad I found this video. I just play it back at .5 speed and i get the mechanics of the toe position.
How inspiring. All young kids should learn how to skate, which could keep them busy and (hopefully) involved in positive things and around positive people 😊
EXACTLY!!!!! That was the plan. But, it's hard to get the rink and the people around here interested in getting the Youngsters out of the streets and into something supper positive and healthy as SK8TN!! Thank you VERY much for the positive comment!!!
Thank you for the positive comment!! It was and is very helpful. And we'll definitely keep working with the cones to help build confidence, control, and balance!!
@@zacharyabdur-rahman7721 We have some how to on our playlist on drills you can do for toe work and other things. I'm still working on what type of new drills that we'll be working once I do I will post videos on what we'll be doing.
