The guide is great, what the other tutorials don’t understand is they I don’t know shit so saying plan the naval invasion without explaining doesent work for me. Thank you for this tutorial where you explained it in detail!
How does it work? With the newer system it doesn’t, it’s broken. Super Germany with maxed out infrastructure fully motorized supply hubs, constantly building railways, and 1000 transport planes and somehow still have negative supply on 24 divisions. Used to be able to put 160 20 width divisions into Barbarossa now I can’t even supply one single army group. It’s broken
well , i bet most people can read and know all this, now tell me , what is the optimal size of a strike group and how many of them do i need ? for UK for example, and what orders are the best for naval dominance
Shock Troopers are not in the base game, rather they are just in a lot of multiplayer mods. They are pretty much just elite infantry with higher base stats.
@@theshadowhokage4508 all's I'd do to create shock troops is keep your standard infantry units at like 12 width or 14 width, but with the shock troops prioritize them equipment wise, and give them artillery or even make your shocks troops motorized

When I was first starting out, I watched a different navy guide which told me to do convoy raiding only for naval supremacy and I always wondered why I kept stalling, when the whole time I was giving half supremacy .-., nice video
You should be using more support comapnies with your beefier offensively oriented divisions, especially field hospitals and logistics companies. These guys are HEAVY on supply when bunched up and super soft which means they'll bleed away your much needed experience. Me, I'd also swap out the support AA for line AA removing an infantry battalion to add the medium flame tank. Minimal investment for a straight up 10% boost to offense on most terrains. I'd even double and triple down on the armor support benefits by including an armored support company as well and then maxing it out on breakthrough as well. Why? Infantry divisions have absolutely garbage tier breakthrough compared to tanks but with the flame tank company alone you can boost your total count by 25% or more. Add in an armored company and thats 50% of your divisions TOTAL breakthrough from two support companies that cost, you very little in terms of tanks per division but offer massive stat gains.

i have to problems my ships don't have acces so they cannot go trough a certain area and when i'm going to add my divisions to my naval invasión orders it says that i should investigate that tecnology but i have the first level rechearched so i canta naval invade

my units for some reasons just stop moving in the middle of the sea and after some time they just come back to their own land :D i played italy and tried to attack yemen. i tried to send 10 divisions after some time 20 divisions when i updated invasion thing and still couldnt do anything :D
New HoI 4 player after years of playing 2 and refusing to budge, your quick guide, no lengthy discussion stuff really helps. I feel like I learned so much in just a few minutes of my time & can apply the new knowledge without having to sit through a painstaking 20-30 min video like so many other HoI 4 tutorials are, keep up the good work!
I can’t even push into smaller countries even though I have tanks and air superiority. ? Got stalemated by Saim a relatively weak country and I was playing as Japan all I wanted was the rubber 😢. I keep losing 😢 I don’t know what it is I know they have anti air and anti tank but it shouldn’t stop a unit 3 x there size.
I love how they put in the new tank designer which superseded the old system but left the old system on armoured cars and mechanised but also put the option to have wheeled suspension in the tank designer but not the option to make an armoured car (or mechanised) in the tank designer. Classic paradox optimisation

For tanks I don’t think so. Also technically armored car battalions are special forces, so you can only have so many. Armored cars are like half way between mot and mech, but in tanks again you want that armor and defense from mech rather than attack and speed because speed will be capped by your tanks and your tanks should already be doing enough attack.
for germany the best garrison imho is a single tankette division. produce the cheapest inter war light tank chassi as possible with a machine gun, costing around 2.4 production cost, make a single battalion division with it and choose it as a garrison. reliability, armor and damage don't matter, literally. 80% of all garrison damage is neutralized, because of hardness of the division. Partisan acts are classified as soft attack. Choose local police force to build compliance and if you want you can choose Himmler as an advisor. Your garrison will take only 25% of all damage done, because the occupation law(50%) and himmler(25%). This 25% damage taken will be reduced by another 80% because the hardness of the tankette garrison division. After a few years of occupying Europe, you will have lost around 2-3k manpower for suppression, which is figuratively nothing.
