I don’t think you are reading the oil fill level gauge correctly. In the video you had it to the “full” line and then added more oil hence overfilling it. I believe it’s designed that the top section is supposed to be “empty”. What does the oil fill display look like after you add the additional oil?
Hey buddy thanks for video i tried this on my e70 x5 it worked for like couple minutes then went back to slugish early/late shifting what do you think it may be?
Excellent videos. And as a new X5 owner, I chose these exact same MRR FS06 wheels as well, and I'm very fortunate to have found your video. Same size and reusing factory tires. Same thought process as you. And they look Outstanding on your X7. Spacers for them were the #1 question I had to figure out, and your video solves the problem. Thank you very much. You family's X7 looks fantastic and I can't wait to see videos on how you tackle de-chroming on the running boards / rockers. With regards to next exterior appearance mods? There a multiple upper roof spoilers and middle rear hatch spoiler options that help complete the sporty look, as that's the only thing I can see that missing. Keep up the excellent work and thank you for your excellent BMW 2019+ X5/X6/X7 series content.
For a 2008 Mercedes CLS550, I want be able to scan and get diagnostic information as well as tips on how to fix. Which scanner would work best for my car? I'll pay what's necessary but not the high end ones that actuate as I could disrupt things. Thank you!
How is this wireless? I don’t want all the wires exposed, it obstructs view. I prefer to go the other route and pay more to install one in upgrading the radio. Thank you for Vid.
Bought a '22 fully loaded N-Line in atlas white. Have 18k on it now. I've previously spent the past 20 years driving full size SUV's & trucks. Sure its NOT perfect, there are a few options it should have. Fun in sport mode, if that was the normal mode with an even more responsive sport mode even better! No mechanical failures, MPG's are great, some understeer and would like better cornering performance.
Do you mean those got ripped off? If so, I would not recommend using the wood trick for more than just lifting it to put the jacks underneath. DO NOT work on the car unless it’s on jack stands
We had a 18k 2018 elantra value that we loved but it got wreaked... we bought a 2023 kona sel awd for 26.5k expecting same engine trans .. reliability... and i gotta say the cvt trans really kinda sucks and kills the power that 2.0 produced in the elantra.. with 8k miles now, the only problem was a dead battery causing the start / stop to be untermittent... will update if i come back across this. June 2024.. ohhh and hyndia do stand by there warrenty [we had a door lock stop working on elantra which did take 2 weeks to fix as it was a wire bundle issue, gave us a nice hybred loner and were awesome to us.. Lynnwood washington. they
Thank you for the informative video, just bought a 2014 with 50k miles in mint condition for $9,500 cash in Oregon, it drives great and launches like a rocket, there is no squeaks, vibration or any funny sounds, I was very lucky as it had all the preventive maintenance done with a clean title
if you suspect pressure delivery, before you buy parts check fuel pressure after the first start. if it doesnt drop anywhere in the fuel lines then its not fuel delivery. if its a heat issue anywhere, cold start then immediately turn off. so everything should still be cold, start again, it shud start no prob if its a heat issue
Simple car guy I know that your intentions are good but this video is wrong. Never use air to pressurize your AC line set system. Air has water and water has moisture. Moisture is a problem to all refrigerants. So you found the leak but now you will compromise the car ac system eventually. Always use nitrogen to leak test.
Thanks for the feedback! Obviously the next step would be to evacuate the system, pull a vacuum etc. by a professional, but as far as DIY method to find a leak and fix the issue before taking it to a pro, I think it’s not so bad.
Thanks a million for posting this video. Huge help. Never would have attempted this without these clear instructions. And the torque specs are money as well. For anyone that also does this, a couple recommendations: I had the hardest time removing the front struts. I gave up and swapped the spring with the strut still installed and just hanging past the fender. Means you don’t need to remove the lower bolt either. Saves some time. You definitely want a 6 foot steel pipe for reinstalling the rear strut. That’s a huge pain. A second person is definitely recommended and probably also handy for holding the hub down while removing the strut. I got heavy duty spring compressors from Amazon by Bilitools. They are beefy and inspire confidence.
