Really helpful video. You can imagine the enthusiastic Rivarossi owner who's looking forward to getting their Roco e626 they've just bought, only to be rather confused by its size and being less than enthusiastic. Looks quite a contrast in colours as well. That's where of course old pre-war toy trains come in quite handy. Although today we scoff at crude tinplate details, charming toylike proportions, and an often alarming lack of wheels as compared the prototype, generally the paint liveries tended to be fairly accurate. Especially useful when so many paint hues haven't been sampled for many decades. Super helpful, thanks for uploading it.

Ciao Farizio, grazie per il tuo commento. Per la tua osservazione della libellula, vorrei riportare le mie attuali esperienze con un esemplare di questo peculiare insetto. Mi viene a trovare regolarmente in giardino, proprio adesso, a fine estate, esattamente nel tardo pomeriggio. Posso attirare questa libellula con movimenti delle mani e suoni sibilanti. Poi lei si avvicina sempre più per curiosità e fa voli circolari sempre più stretti verso la mia mano. Dopo qualche minuto si riposa sull'edera che sta crescendo dietro di me e che ora inizia a formare fiori. Due giorni fa sorprendentemente mi ha seguito in casa e mi ha seguito di nuovo fuori. At the moment, tidying up the external layout is a problem because, due to my back pain, now under treatment, I have neglected it and the wild animals have destroyed the tunnels! To make the locomotives, electric and steam, turn, I made two dioramas on the terraces of the house and, for now, it's fine like this. Thanks for your always welcome comments, regards Fabrizio

Yes, I saw a RU-vid link showing the inside of the Mamod factory closing - there's a lot of stuff inside: raw materials, semi-finished products and finished or almost finished models: a real shame! I hope someone can take over the factory and continue the work!

Good morning Fabrizio, you've brought back memories for me. I drove my grandmother in this car and made my first long journeys in this flagship in 1967. The car had a curious vertical roller as a speedometer. On the motorway I was able to experience the rush of speed for the first time. The sound of this engine was also very pleasant and typical.
