I use Knight & Wilson, I don‘t use the entire amount, I usually use 1/3 each time. It saves a lot of money. I have fine hair which has gone light brown as I have aged, instead of going grey. Very weird. I may start bleaching only the lower 2/3 or 1/2 of my hair. I like this peek a boo look!
The conditioner was blue because it is the opposite of orange on the color wheel. Orange is what your treated hair will be prior to the yellow most bleach creates. A conditioner is not enough for that shade. A toner would be better.
June that past I cut all my hair not even a buzz cut , a very short taper haircut with shaved sides, I noticed many people look at me differently, I even had someone say to me, Omg what have you done to your Hair your hair use to be so Beautiful, so I guess my hair is not Beautiful anymore, People Don’t Know When To Keep Their Mouth Shut.
That’s just RIDICULOUS to use CRAPPY SCISSORS and not look in the mirror!! I don’t believe she cleaned up that Hacked up back by herself that’s why video was sped up!!
agreed, crappy scissors were a terrible idea, I've upgraded since but still don't have amazing ones. it was sped up because it was too long and boring to keep all the hacking away in there LOL! my hair has not been cut or colored by anyone but myself in over 5 years! except when i shaved my head completely and needed my husband to go over it once for me at the end cuz i just couldn't get it smooth LOL!
@@ItsJustHairwithHeatherHeather, Thank you for responding! I’m glad to hear you’ve upgraded your Scissor game 😂 and I admire your “Beauty Brave” attitude of “it’s just hair!” HOWEVER 😂 since 5 Years would indicate you’ve seriously committed to the DIY approach to your hair, the Highest Quality Scissors AND Mirror can be LIFE CHANGING! The investment is offset by the fact that you’ve eliminating professional procedures. During Covid I did teach myself to trim my hair, even layer lightly and keep my bangs trimmed, only made remotely possible by Excellent Scissors - Japanese online the best you can possibly afford. I’ll check out your other videos 👍🌹
Heather I loved this haircut so much! You are so cool. I'm gonna start colouring and cutting my own hair after having far too many disappointments with hairdressers. This way you save money, you do it yourself at home and it's fun! Your videos are so inspriring!
When I cut my kids hair I recycle big paper bags and after folding down to a bowl I have him catch the hair and it’s been a great idea because I have much less hair to pick up from floor and sink! Try it. Love your videos btw!
Really nice beautiful style it fits just perfect I love the way you cut it and I believe it's very nice on you and very even Thank you for sharing your video.
either situation is possible... personally, when my hair is brown, it washes out completely to the naked eye. when you bleach it, you may notice the residual color appears and need to tone it, or completely color over it which is my go to. on bleached hair, i feel like it often leaves a tiny hint of a color. for me, i'm always coloring it so that's fine for me to just keep going once it's faded to a certain point. but if you literally just want a few weeks of color and 100% back to blonde, don't do it. not worth the risk. get some clip in colored hair extensions or something :P
I’ve been cutting my own hair for 10 years at least 😂 just out of cheapness and anxiety because I’ve had my ears cut and never had a super great experience really.. anyways it started out as just trims on long hair and then eventually I tried long bangs and then eventually I decided to cut it to medium length and then eventually I got the nerve to try a bob and I’ve been maintaining for a few years now. You should try the theee pony tails method next! Look up layered bobs and find it it was super helpful for me! ❤
i did the butterfly cut on my daughter (2 ponytails) and it was SO easy and came out amazing!!! i've done this single pony tail method on myself twice since this original one, once pulled it down more perpendicular to floor, and more recently pulled it straight up vertically, both came out ok LOL.
