Loved the part where you loaded your daughter and son to ride along. You’re plowing snow for sure, but those memories will last forever for them. Great job.
The group page is on Facebook. If you look up Southern Ontario Flatfender Association it should show up. Let me know if you have trouble finding it or have any other questions.
I love the video!! Flatfenders are beasts in their own right!! But I tell ya, the music is annoying. Sorry, my opinion, but I'd rather just watch and listen to the Jeeps!
Really??!! I've done tougher rides on my mountain bike?? If this is all you have around you, so be it! ?? But, it's not exactly what most " flattie" owners look for in a " jeep run "!!??
Thanks for watching and the feedback on the music. I will have more videos coming soon this spring when we get out for more Flatfender rides. I will try some more videos without music.
Brings back memories....My Dad had a 1954 Willys CJ3B which he used to plow out our neighborhood....I used to ride along as a little youngster in the 1960's until I took over plowing responsibilities in the 1980's.....I still have that Jeep and would not sell it for anything.
Me too! My first vehicle was a 47' CJ2A which I bought when I was 15. Fixed it up and put a 6' Western hydraulic snow plow on it to make money in high school. Plowed driveways, parking lots and who knows what! Had a 3 point pin for the angle so it was an art to plow without getting out and changing it very often. Went off to college and life and Dad kept up plowing for a few more years. He enjoyed it as much as I did! I still have it after 42 years! Started a frame up restoration several years ago, probably 75% done. Can't wait to drive it again and bring back those fond memories! And of course it's not for sale!
I like hearing stories like yours and Jeff Meng. I take my kids a long for rides in the Jeep and I hope to pass it on to them when they are old enough.

It’s a pretty good right now at Boundary road. Lots of mud and ruts to crawl around on. Let’s plan to go sometime soon. Im pretty much free the rest of this week and next week. I could meet you at Boundary road.
I might be able to get out there. Would my Willys Jeep be okay on those trails? Is it a camping overnight thing or early morning drive out and drive back at night? I do want to get out to try the trails closer to us around Minden. I haven’t been to those trails yet.
Thanks. I just got this CJ3A a few months ago. I spent some time tuning the ignition and carburetor. I got it running good to cruise down the road. It ran good on the trail but it needs some more work. Hopefully I can get it all done this winter and take 4wheeling next spring.
