Yet another fantastic recipe. You have saved me a small fortune as I cannot buy many British staples here unless I’m willing to pay through the nose. Have you thought of producing a PDF of your recipes? I for one would be willing to pay for a copy. Keep up the great work
You’ve made such a great base for busy bodies like me. Thank you. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to engage and comment as much. Life you know… But your content continues to calm me and your integrity is inspiring amidst other viral media firestorms! ❤ Please take care!
Absolutely not Scotch pies. First of all, they are NOT British, they are Scottish. When I lived in England, there wasn't anywhere I could buy one. Secondly, they are small, handheld, not full size family dinner size. If you are ever visit Scotland you'll find this out, a single pie is one person only. And finally...it was BURNT!!! Absolutely appalling video 😠
I'm from Yorkshire and this is my favourite pudding. I've been many places in Europe and this is simply the best. For something ultra sweet I would say baklava but its yorkshire tart for me.
Dear Sir, you have an excellent show, I love the concept, the knowledge you have and your delivery, the the only issue I have is the union flag appears to be upside down, please could you check this. Thank you Important: the Union Flag has a correct way up - in the half of the flag nearest the flagpole, the wider diagonal white stripe must be above the red diagonal stripe, as Scotland's St Andrew's Cross takes precedence over Ireland's St. Patrick's Cross. It is most improper to fly the flag upside down.
I love Digestive Biskets. But here in America they are very hard to get and they can be a bit pricey because they're imported. Thank you for this recipe.☺️🫓🫖
Irishman here. Love this recipe sir. Thank you 😍. A wee smidge of Irish blue cheese would work well too. Cashel Blue (cow) or Crozier Blue (sheep) would work a treat.
@@brilliantlybritish just found your channel mate. Thanks for showing British food isn't bland as it often gets said about our food, Just subscribed you stay safe 👍
Dear Lawrence, I have to say this is my favourite video of yours so far and I have seen many. You just seem so much more relaxed and natural. The fact that you spluttered over a word is brilliant, it makes you more relatable. Keep up the good work! x
Thank you Lawrence, I hadn't previously heard of bubble and squeak for breakfast but do have it for evening meal with bacon and a fried egg on top. Your way of putting the egg white in to cook prior to adding the yolk was interesting, think I'll give it a try next time I fry an egg x
