The topic here is relationship containment. Which is the providing of security and care. The woman in this relationship here doesn't feel safe, and questions the relationship, because the man doesn't do his part right. Sometimes men seek mothers not wifes, always because of an unmet childhood need, which hindered emotional development. In those cases relationships can be difficult, because they just don't know what they are doing wrong and how to fix it. If you love a woman, you prioritize her, and your children, above all. If you are not around, you make sure she is safe and cared for, until you come back. Women love this behaviour, not matter what bullshit our socity promotes. If a woman doens't require this behaviour as much, then she probably still got it from somewhere else, ususlly from her family of origin.
