I remember Cissy King. Not only was she a great dancer but she could sing as well. She also happened to be the best-looking performer on The Lawrence Welk Show.
Neil Levang actually helped Leo Fender develop the Bass VI originally. For some reason, many people don’t seem to realize just how talented and important Neil Levang was to the guitar world.
Much agreed on Neil's importance ... But Buddy was there first, and played steel guitar as well. Old Larry was really smart and exhibited forthright character in bringing Buddy back after his military service. These guys were great together, and their timing was absolutely dead-on!
Yes, the song was the second song of the album Somethin' Stupid. The first song was of course Somethin' Stupid. I first heard this album in 1970 when i was in high school. "In only a moment we both will be old, we won't even notice the world turning cold, and so in these moments the sunlight above, my cup runneth over with love"
Hmmm...well i heard them sing this for the fitst time in...i think the late 70s, and it became my favorite song for years. I was just a child back then and it was the first time if heard it.
