Great idea to use the connector to connect the wires and test whether it is the switch broken or the motor. I am off to try and find a switch - stupidly hard to find these days - and give this a go myself. Thanks for the idea. It will be much cheaper than buying the switch or capacitor only to discover that the motor is broken.
That's unlucky. Mine is ancient! The handle joints have gone and I've only got one handle trigger now but it's struggling on and I'm steadfastly refusing to buy a new one till it actually goes boom and definitely can't be fixed 😂
Sorry that it has taken me so long to reply. Thank you! There are a number of way you can paint the midsole. It depends on how hard plasticky it is. Raleigh do a scratch resistant sealer, its a bit of a long process but it works. I always rough up the surface with some fine grit sandpaper first and then get all the dust off. Angelus do a plastic adhesion promoter which I used with these ones because the texture was bumpy. Also places like sneakerscience sell actual midsole paints now which is cool.
@@stefankrieken1908 you have to layer the angelus with the Raleigh scratch resist stuff. Best to look on their RU-vid for the exact method. If you mix angelus with the angelus hard mixer (it's clear, you mix them together), then it'll be OK. Like I said, if also depends on the midsole, there are so many different textures. I had some bother with super shiny midsoles. Another tip is to not wear the trainers for a whole week after you've finished. This lets the paint properly cure. Do you think I should do a midsole video?
If you want to, I’m doing a Jordan 1 g8torade sbb custom on my channel and I don’t want to spend that much money and wait more time on a scratch resistant sealer. That’s why I’m going through all custom Jordan 1 videos where the midsole is painted and ask. So the midsole I’m painting is rubber, you don’t recommend painting it with angelus paint right?
@@stefankrieken1908 I'd at least mix it with the angelus 2 hard liquid so it grips better. It depends if it's for a client or yourself. Angelus paint is designed for leather not plastic or rubber. Even to achieve longevity on leather you have to prep the surface correctly. The paint need something to grip to.
