You could take the meat of the bones, boil those with vegetables and less garlic, also ad a bit of bell pepper, a bay leaf and some pepper corns. I make this every few weeks.
Oh my god! This looks so tasty, which is why i followed your tutorial and made it myself for dinner for my family and they loved it. Thank you and keep up the good work😊
Finally finally finally! Someone with brains telling people that you don't need to de-starch by water and then re-starch by corn flour again to get perfection. BTW after grating, I mix em with the seasoning.
Thanks, Faith! I didn't know about the filters in my dishwasher for a while either and they got pretty nasty! (My filters look just like yours. 😊) I am cleaning my dishwasher today and found your video to remind myself exactly how. What I havent seen addressed beforeis cleaning the door seal. I will get that, too! 😊.
might be more effort but i think I'd prefer a manual mill, I don't like relying on technology for so much, especially something so simple and easy that was done without electricity far more and far longer than it's been done with it.
is his name Johnny who had 4 kids and did a bedroom makeover using galvenized square steel and covered it in echo frindly wood veneer with screws from his aunt?
Nice build but let us be honest. Maybe you shouldn't have 4 kids if you can't effort them and have to put them all into one single bedroom. It's cute when they are little, but it's going to be a nightmare when they hit puberty.
Freshly milled flour is indeed fresher than store-bought all-purpose flour because it is ground directly from whole grains right before use, retaining its natural oils and nutrients. This means it has a richer flavor and better nutritional profile. In contrast, store-bought flour can sit on shelves for months, losing freshness and flavor over time. 🌾 🙂
Some people don't understand or they just like to troll. Thanks for.your video I'm researching milling my own flour and making bread from scratch. @FaithsHomemaking
Price notwithstanding, the use life of white AP flour is 6-8 months after opening. Dried wheat grain lasts 8-12 years. Both stored in an air tight container in a dry, cool place. If I could afford the mill, this would be worth it to mill as needed for myself. I generally buy a bag of flour once a year but throw half of it out. I do plan on getting a small deep freezer soon. Giving me space to freeze my flour so it doesn't go bad before use. But that only extends the life to 2 years. Again, that is for bleached AP flour. And the more natural a flour is (e.g. whole-grain, unbleached, no preservatives), the faster it will spoil.
Thanks for sharing! Correct, the more natural flour the faster it spoils because it's full of good nutrients and fats that our bodies need. I personally love milling my own flour for the health benefits. I also cook/bake for my family of 6 so we go through a lot of flour. =)
You can use dried chickpeas to make flour. 👏 I mill dry beans and other legumes to make Ezekiel flour. 🌾 You can’t use something that is wet or has a lot of fat like peanuts. 🥜
The price defiantly increased since I bought the grain mill a few years ago. 🥺But I would buy it again if I had too. Nothing beats the quality of freshly milled flour. 🌾
@@FaithsHomemaking Dude, people don't have time to cook if the bag of flour is literally on the counter, to start the process from milling. I mean its not a realistic expectation. You'll be lucky to use it even once-twice in a year. Doesn't justify the price. Although I don't question the taste would be loads better. Also, in our part of the world, we have to wash the grain, to rid it of the dust, husk, and worse chemicals, then it is spread out to dry in a non dusty place, which takes days, and only then it can be milled. We have this concept called mills, where you can take any quantity of grain, even a few kilos and have it milled.
@@FaithsHomemaking Sue Beckers Home Ground is my home base cookbook, from there I get a little creative. My wheat berries are precious to me so I don't want to make any mistakes. Lol. But I have also acquired recipes from RU-vid And from the internet. I've found a fantastic sourdough waffle recipe that requires no eggs, it's mainly sourdough. I have made it for other people and they love it as well. So I get my favorites recipes for certain items and stick with them. I want to look for a bread machine recipe to use outside during summer because I hate turning my oven on in the heat. I have a.c. but my kitchen still gets warm.
You forgot to tell us approximately how long it takes to get the bottom brown! That is a critical nugget of information that the viewer needs! Oh now the video is ruined!
Thank you! 🥰 Me too! Which is why I use this method! No extra steps and you get a nice and crispy Hashbrown. 🤩 You can even shred cheese after flipping over the Hashbrown once. That’s my husband’s favorite method. 🥔🧀
Well, you made it so simple. I’m doing that right now. And I’ve never ever cleaned my dishwasher. My dishes are greasy now and food is not coming off of it. So thank you for showing this. And I have a similar dishwasher, which was good.
