Worlds Only Prophet For Your Lancers🙏🤴🏾🏎️, This is the only channel that illustrates especially here in Australia on how to modify your CJ & CF Lancers 07-17. Follow on instagram & Facebook!! : @CJLANCERTURBØCLUB
If your talking about the 2.4 variants you can interchange from all the CJ lancers 2007-2017 but the difference being the variants from 2007 to 2010 they don’t have EGR unlike the ones after 2011, if you have a 2011 2.4L engine you can put it in your 2L equipped ES, the older models have the more powerful variant but they just don’t have the newer side technology for efficiency thats the only difference.
I have never seen a Diesel version before man😕😳, its all up in Europe and parts of asia, im glad your enjoying it bro congrats on the delightful purchase 💯🙏
Hey bro, my car is 2017 Lancer ES 2.0L. Do you have any cat back exhaust recommend for me? It is quite hard to find the aftermarket parts for 2017 lancer. I am in Brisbane btw. Do you recommend custom make? but how much would it be?
Hey bro, don’t look for online exhaust for lancers, always go to your local muffler exhaust fabrication shop its way cheaper and they can make a custom cat back exhaust for you price will depend on your shop, try ringing or even going to them in person for quotes, my mind it should be between 350-450 for the catty back, all the CJ-CF’s are the same bro, if you want NA power, you can go for a cat back if you want or even a header back, i have a whole video bunch explaining it, hope this reaches to you well bro💯👌
@@CJLancerProphetAUS Bro, thank you for your detailed explanation. One of the muffler exhaust store quoted me for $1500 for 304 stainless catback system in Brisbane. Does stainless really affect the performance. It a bit over budget for me. any material would you suggest? 😁
@@xx-vb6pxsorry bro i didn’t get to respond to you quick!, you don’t need the stainless steel bro, there just for Cosmetic appeal more tbh, just go for the titanium steel bro, $1500 for a catback is horrendous in my opinion but dw theres gonna be other shops out there, its good to go to the old bloke owned shops as they will most likely charge you a lot less then the younger generation enthusiasts who own the auto shops, my catback cost me $450 i will be doing a video in the near… of me getting a new catback so hopefully it teaches you guys, no need to spend a lot for cheaper performance man💯 hoped this helped and sorry again for the late response!
Owning my Lancer for two months now. I finally managed to put some decent rear brakes (the ones that I bought the car with were garbage) so I finally could take it for a test drive on the street & highway. I am grateful for my cop awarness on the roads 🤣🤣 Anyway, yep - your standard sportback lancer VIII is a monster in straightline, when you feel the clutch / gas right you can do 1v1 with ease against your typical BMW lad. However, when it comes to turns the stock suspension feels a little too "bouncy", I feel like the car could hop out of the corner. VW passat b5 seemed more glued to the road on the corners. Great vid lad, appreciate it!
Wow bro thats frickin awesome!!, glad you found my video extremely helpful and informative, i just want every lancer bro and sis to know what it’s capable of and why mitsu messed up not making fwd sport variants for it, the 4B12 is the epitome of pure greatness for the lancers, im glad guys like you take it to the freeway and actually prove my theory right!🤣💯 Appreciate it bro, stay tuned for more!!
Well said, I also have a lancer 2.0 diesel, and I really like it, if I had money for an evo I would put that money into my lancer, what can I say, I love my car, at the end of the day I have a car that takes me from point A to point B without problems, low consumption, enough power to overtake when needed, it holds up well on the street ,and looks good. An evo is cool, but a lancer is a car meant to serve you valiantly whenever you need it, not just for show and street racing,he is a silent warrior.
100% brother a top end striker but also blended for Daily and family practicality, Evo is a Pure race car at the end man, but lancers are not to be messed around with💯👌
I’ve got a 2011 lancer ES GTS and I really want to do something with it too make it faster because i feel like I’m always super slow going from first gear. Do you have any ideas? Aswell as any cool exterior things I could add on too it? I already have tint, new exhaust, short ram and new rims. Thank you bro. I’m not really a car guy so bear with me haha.
Also wanted too add, if I did add anything to make it faster would it still be fine to daily? Cause currently it is my daily car and gas is super expensive now
@@jevvin611hey bro thats tons you can do my man, like yourself i was new too car stuff a year ago, didnt understand anything, the reason i got a lancer is because i feel like the platform deserves so much better understanding, Mitsubishi cheaped out and never gave a fwd lancer performance platform, it wasn’t until real pioneers like me who tested it visually and practically 😇, lancers were the best thing to ever happen man, so many you younger generations or younger generation influenced, lack the knowledge of course and just been exposed to top trim culture and exotic cars etc, be happy you got a lancer bro i do feel upset that i could’ve released this message way back when on the on going of the lancer production, but its better now then nothing i guess, It doesnt matter what performance you go, either NA or Turbo, they are both reliable and mileage friendly Lancers are top end powered cars, yet they trashed it by making them base models, the roll race straight line performance is gravy and wicked my man, i know lots of you guys want NA, Dude just go for a full exhaust (Custom made one from local shop) a K&N filter pad (Don’t do a short ram) NGK spark plugs, Fuel system upgrade like fuel pump, Fuel rail, Fuel injectors( You can put Ralliart or evo ones) and E85 Conversion if you want, and absolutely a good tune, If you have 2.4L its a lot easier get the power and torque higher, you will probably be between 210-220hp mark which for a 4cyl thats pretty good NA wise or in special cases even 270hp😕👀, Turbo don’t even sweat 400-500hp like nothing bruv, but out of the two, Turbo is a lot more cheaper option, i made these vids for a reason bro so you guys can be educated and guided 🙏👍💪🏽Hope this helps bro and others reading this💯🙏
Hey! Sorry to post this question here but for whatever reason it wont let me comment on your other videos. How hard would it be to manual swap a 2013 Lancer SE? I’ve got the cvt transmission but I’d love to get the manual. I got the lancer for cheap so I didn’t get to really pick what trans I ended up with, but if it isn’t terribly difficult to do I’d love to swap it
@Hybrid14 hey sorry man!!, i had to pause the comments in those vids because i had dozens of unwanted people sending hate comments to people and towards myself as im trying to keep this page more professional and respectful community, hey bro swapping a cvt for a manual box is easy as pie, when i mean easy its done countless amounts of time, all it is you just need to get the manual system from a donor manual lancer, clutch pedal, wiring, gear box + Gear stick shifter, clutches flyweel etc, and don’t worry dude it wont a pricey project as long you have people helping you and you have some connections the only time it would be pricey if you buy the parts or getting serviced by some thirsty leech lmao, the only thing is certain you will need to do is a remap and reprogram for your ECU because most cars after 1985 are bloody computerised! And 2013 SE model just know its only the ECU is going to be a bloody leech lol. Any more questions you can directly email me for more bro
Honestly Im not gonna lie, unless you have a 2.4L 4B12 a 4wd would be achievable & awd too but Having an awd 4b11 is the same as having the ralli and evo😂💯 unless like i said either the 4b10 or 4b12 it would be a different game , but you would have to cut out the panel frame, floor pan, list goes on, also depends on your connections and helping hands too, with no help and just a wallet its gonna cost you a grip, but just to give you an idea what awd is good for because theres a lot of misconceptions for these drive train, its good for launching, Corners, Track racing, Rally’s, if thats what you want to achieve than go for it, Rwd & Fwd are good for straights (Roll racing) and street daily use, but upto you man if you said this on another video people would screach and be mean about you tryna awd the lancer, they will tell you buy the evo for awd, which i do agree but its too expensive to purchase them lmao, and depending on your resources and connections of people helping you, if not it will be the same price as buying a ralliart second hand doing the conversion, but go for it i encourage you bro test the waters the more help you have the less it will cost i guess.
Just got my first Lancer Sportback 1.8, I fell in love with it when I saw it at the car dealership. Test drive and sound system bought me. 102 000 km done in 14 years I am the 2nd owner of it. You've earned a sub mate, best regards from Poland!
Thanks! It's rear is very unusual and that kinda bought me. Whenever you have time and have any insight into sportbacks, I would really appreciate a quick video about them!
Need a recommendation for my VRX, what intake manifold would be best for top-end power as I wish to maximize everything in the NA league for it? If you can recommend any high lift cams that would be great as well, already have a short ram intake in mind and I will have the entire exhaust system done custom.
@samuelross9455 shout me an email and we’ll discuss through there man glad to help 100%, These 4B12 can handle ridiculous amounts of power man, and N/A power? Dude you can get upto 270hp on a N/A set up, i will be making a video on it too, you can increase the displacement to 2.6L as well, the torque is godlike compared to the 2L, yeah just shout me an email so its a lot easier.
Such a shame there virtually no aftermarket support for the sportback variant. If I want different tail lights, they gotta be hand modified or commissioned
I was literally thinking that long way back, the sportsback are of the best looking variants for these lancers, im pretty sure you can pre custom design them, but design is a headache
I totally agree with u since i also got dsame car as my daily driven sportsback. I really cant find any aftermarket rear spoiler & diffuser for my sportsback
Im pretty sure they made their own, i know Mitsubishi cheaped out toyota made their own and i think Subaru did too, i may botched that one 😂but from what i heard mitsu ones are not too bad
I somehow found a 2010 GTS sportback with 58k thousand miles on it. I plan on eventually getting the turbo and trans/AWD system from the ralliart to swap over. I discovered through the evo forums that the 4b12 shares the exact same bore and stroke of a dodge caliber SRT-4, which has much more aftermarket turbo support
@lukeraimond7117 the 4B12 is the same as the 4B11 but the 4B12 has more torque and since its a higher displacement and a 2.6L is achievable as well it will handle more power without much engine internal parts like examp(cams etc), the 4B11T has way more aftermarket support its like comparing a 2JZ to a Ford Barra, the 4b11 is the 2Jz more maximum power potential the 4B12 is the Ford barra, while the 4B12 theres not much aftermarket support but it can go higher on stock block then a 4B11
Also congrats on the gts/vrx discovery man the sportsbacks are quite cool looking as well, 58K miles seems quite less but it all depends how its been treated, if its been babied and not thrashed, it will continue eating the mileage while staying new with the good news being it can be modified, but like i said even a engine replacement or any lancer car replacements it’s quite cheap
ive got a 2009 lancer, mivec 1.8 4b10 engine, can i still achieve high numbers? ive got a turbo kit from a ralliart and i was thinking i could only got for 250 bhp, but id love atleast 3/400
@@Fourbeur well i know someone whose put a ralliart turbo kit on their 1.8 mivec, and they got 350 bhp, although he did actually have the evo x camshafts fitted, and upgraded clutch
@Kairo4428 you can achieve healthy numbers on your 1.8l 4b10 as ive told one of the subscribers above^, they are all the same its just displacement and bore and weight is the difference, although the 4B11/T have the most aftermarket support out of the three the 4B12 has the torque and high output potential on stock block with minimal internal engine work, the 1.8 is close to the 2L you can achieve 220-290hp with no issues if its the CVt variant on manual I don’t even gotta tell you, you will get 3/400 easily with just the turbo and major stuff alone like exhaust, E85 etc, but i reckon a double scroll turbo is better, the ralliart has only one scroll
@Kairo4428 sorry man the CJ is what we call in Australia and since im from Australia thats what we call it😂, Cj sounds better than saying Lancer or “Es lancer” its all the same at the end of the day, and Evo is just called evo
as someone who owns an evo X... I love seeing lancer builds, go crazy, enjoy the process, learn some new things & meet new people in the community. one of my closest friends has a lancer gts and we have shared many good times cruising together.
@jameseee6511 Appreciate it bro, i mean its good hearing from a Evo x owner being passive and supportive, although the fwd lancers are godlike when modified right, no where near the same aftermarket and platform as the evo has, but its good being old school man any car can be fast, i mean i were you i’d be proud of myself for being leveled with every guy, although i did mention cocky evo owners in the vid but thats not every apple, hope your evo x rocking up well mate its cool dude, the GTS/VRX 2.4L are crazy too, what have you done with the evo x yourself?
For you new or my current subscribers tuning in this video, i have done a part 2 on this subject (How to turbo your lancers) ill leave link in the comments below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oI4fxU1eTS0.htmlfeature=shared
you can get a turbo kit for either few hundred dollars or a grand or even a grand and a half but that comes with everything, these universal turbo kits are sold on ebay, the fuel system you just need an aftermarket fuel pump, fuel injectors and fuel rail you can take it off a donor Ralliart or Evo and bolt them on, you can get aftermarket spark plugs it doesn’t really matter which one just as long it ignites more spark to the cylinders thats all its at, they can cost between 30-50bucks but depends where you go, air intake you can change it to a K&N air pad filter and it’s reusable when you clean it that would be 200-300 bucks, Exhaust you can go to your local muffler shop and they either custom make one or they have a one thats your lancer, and that’s usually a catback , a turboback they can custom make or if your someone going N/A a full exhaust they can do too, a cat back would be like 200-450 bucks and a turbo back a little bit more i’d say All that should make it under 5K that also includes dyno and shit so pretty much it depends on your location and the price of the item but you won’t be spending above that thats for sure lol especially for stock block maximum gains
So did you motor swap it to a true 4b11T or build/boost the NA 4b11 and is it evo 5 speed or lancer 5 speed? Amazing build i want to do the same to mine and have questions
Nah mate this is a video of someones built CJ lancer, not a evolution model, my channel is all the Non evo stuff whats your email i can send you what you can do, i have big plans for this community
Also the 4B11T is just a hotted up version of the Original 4B11 you can bolt on and it will run the same engine wise just not Awd, occasionally its just hilarious you have some dumb dingo’s commenting here that its not evo, even though this is about the fwd lancer not even trying too🤣, these kids mate brainwashed making fun of lancers even though thats the daddy of their car
@@CJLancerProphetAUS And yeah man I face it too Everyone who sees you mod a lancer only says “not an evo” “should buy an evo” “sell it get an evo” but honestly for the price and differences the evo is just NOT worth it imo at all. Especially around me and what they cost its so pointless. Even finding my 09 GTS 5 speed was extremely hard. Lancers are still extremely rare where im at and almost the same as an evo. I have head/taillights, entire bodykit hood etc. all new upgraded interior and manual shifting upgrades. All new suspension and steering and undercarriage work. Now last thing needed is just engine work. But i feel like rebuilding snd turboing my car is dame as just buying 4b11T and dropping it in.
@@pollux2825i 100% go by you man, this society is just brainwashed and unfortunately famous people are like drugs the more you consume the more detached from reality you are, have a look at my recent video and see what reality is😂, you can pick up a lancer for cheap and dump few grand and especially in manual form the power you can make is ridiculous for cheap as well and btw you can manual swap it for cheap when you go wreckers bro they will bolt on you just need to change ECU and all that but a stock manual lancer with turbo set up on 18psi you can get upto 400-500hp like nothing… especially in the 2.4L motor and For N/A a auto lancer you can reach upto 250hp on a na built lancer just build the engine bro, the ralliart and evo engines will be expensive nowadays because of flagship marketing, you can put cams and build your fuel system or the cherry on top e85 it and you will be stunned my friend…, buy an evo not only covid tax will kill you , the insurance etc and modifying is a hell of a lot expensive, my goal is create kits of these lancers and more to come im telling you, whats your instagram i can still hook you up with ideas + my ideas are all in and out follow my page and check out my stuff you will be pumped mate💯💯💯
@@pollux2825also Evo is a Track/Rally car same comparison to the Subarus, it’s perfect for the AWD implementation, i worked for Mitsubishi so i know what i’m talking about, these trolls absolutely make me giggle🤭
Great video mate. I recentrly got my Lancer Sportback GTS (2010) and I was looking to mod it sometime within the coming year once I get through the interior upgrades. Any specific recommendations for a college student strapped for cash? Cheers from Cali
@Bradleyfigueroa4058 thanks for comment appreciate it mate, oh nice a 2010 GTS/VRX 2.4L sportsback, be glad to help you out bro whats your email? so we can take it from there :)
I've got a 2017 Lancer ES and have a K&N custom Short Ram intake thats directed to the end of a RALLIART DUCT.. gained about 7hp in cold weather and average of 5.77
@EricEgot Thats good bro!, you’ll be suprised how much you can gain on a N/A performance set up lancer, i know people who have their lancer mashed up pure N/A getting around 150-180kw / 200-250hp to the cranks like nothing!, what future plans you got for the 2017 es?
do u guys have any recommended body kits and coilovers for lancer 2017 ls? im new i dont really know anything about cars haha i just want my car to look good
Wow dude thats good! Hope it helped out man, just wanted to do a video with facts and help my brothers and sisters with knowledge of how to build lancers for cheap, will be making more vids soon!
