I have a z1 single exit and just put the same resonator on. It's close but cleared everything. Ended up putting it right after the w brace and rotated the resonator a bit to clear everything.
Yoooo just got a free tomei for my car and was thinking on throwing on a vibrant ultra quite resonator on it to see how it sounds and your video just makes me want to do it even kore . It sounds so smooth.
hey Im currently having issue with the rasp of my tomei.. im running resonated test pipe with custom y pipe and tomei.. Im planning on putting two Ultra quiet vibrant on my y pipe .. do u think it will tone it down a lil bit?
That’s 100000x better than the standard tomei . It’s something I was close to doing when I had a tomei myself . Ended up selling it and going true dual exit
Glad to finally see videos on this exhaust by this company as no one else runs this exhaust I feel or even knows of this company. I ran their single exit since the end of 2019 beginning 2020 and loved it. It's amazing quality for the price, it's insanely better than any of the eBay exhausts that don't fit or sound super tinny because they use thin metal piping. Compared to other exhausts for the VQ platform some if not most start out at $600 for more name-brand ones. I finally replaced it after all the resonators/muffler packing burned up and amplified the sound pretty much, I have the dual exit now and I was kind of hesitant as I really loved my single but it had gotten too loud for my tastes after a while. I run the dual, their resonated Y-pipe which I replaced the resonator for the vibrant ultra quiet as I had some miles on it already and was also sounding a little hollow if you knocked on it, and the resonated test pipes by them, so I guess a full circuit werks exhaust setup. It's loud, but not too bad since there are 6 "resonators" on the car, no rasp, solid low rumble tone. getting the silencers out was a pain for me, mine were on super tight, and I had to cut them a little to get them out, I run the Z1 dual exhaust silencers if I want a more quiet ride as they slip right in and have more to grab onto if you need to take them out.
I am now the owner of this car, 5 years later. There were so many things wrong with this engine that I can still see wrong in this video that no one fixed over the years. I got this car running solid now, she just needed the right owner!
Mine was stuck hella hard too. It was a bitch to remove I ended up using a bearing puller yo pull it out I rented it out at Autozone I don’t remember the part number.
@@Lillandon1234 I got them off. Mine were really jammed in tho so I had to stuff a thick rope inside and hook it to the front of a secondary vehicle, backing up until they flew out from force lmao
@@purplebanana0 if you are going to get it, get the one that doesn’t have the tip with the blue thing… I had a hard time removing the silencer, I had to break it 😂
I’m late but how is it in person ? Cold starts ? I’m thinking of getting one but I don’t wanna be annoying my neighbors with the start ups and all that . Definitely thinking the same set up with xyz motordyne resonated
