@@peKarim not sure what the rule of the octave is i just started and did it as simple as i could I'm more or less started with composing and then moved to improvising because I wasn't able to improvise in the beginning. I had to familiarize myself with something first.
dont stress it man youre likly doing as good as you need to be just focus on loving the experience of playing and creating experiences you love being in if you can do that you are doing something most people struggle to do with anything
Your wrong notes don't add color, they add sludge to the sound of what is an already amateur level of improv and musicianship. You regularly demonstrate an inability to maintain the level of quick thinking necessary to keep up with a piece performed in the nature of this one -Clear pauses and cuts where it's more than apparent you didn't know what to do next, jumps and choppy playing, tempo inconsistencies, and an all together shoddy job. You're not bad for a beginner, but keep practicing.
You're the man!!! Love watching how talented you are, it's amazing. You keep evolving more and more in your techniques and exploration in what your music is about. So great!
