Amazing. Push-button starter and remote wouldn’t kick the engine over. Googled my symptoms and stumbled across this video. Assumed it all a joke, couldn’t be, but for giggles and kicks I tried it. My connector didn’t appear disconnected but I did reseat it. I was floored when the engine turned over. Even the remote start is now working properly. Anyone with the same symptoms, this is not a joke. I’m quite confident you will mumble a happy “mother f*cker” at the results. Sir, you are a Golden God. Thank you and everyone who looks like you.
@@ShemShemNY Thanks! I didn't believe it myself when. It happened. I unplugged it and plugged it in several times to verify it was truly the issue and it was fixed and let out a few HAPPY MFs as well. Glad it worked!
I am loving the Tahoe so much that I started cleaning out the Wrangler to sell. It may get a little less gas mileage but the space, the comfort, the power, and the smile it puts on my face make up for it.
I have a problem if you have an idea about the topic. When I turn on the air conditioner, the compressor does not work until I turn off the vehicle. After it starts, I turn off the air conditioner button. The compressor continues to work even though I turn off the air conditioner button, and I must turn off the vehicle and restart it until the compressor stops.
I like your ability to swap from car to car without much effort. I leave my fridge in my SUV 24/7. With my daily driving, I don’t worry about battery drain. I need to plus up my power to allow my fridge to last 4 - 5 days without me driving around. I have a DIY awning that attaches to my roof rack and uses collapsible poles for the other side of the tarp. While taking it down does not take long, it just messes up the vibe of camping just to drive to keep the battery topped off. For regular weekend trips, it would suit me and my wife to use her car. So swapping the battery and fridge would be nice. Thanks for sharing your smarts!!
Unfortunately not many and not great ones. This is a one day...ONE LONG DAY trail if you start early at it OR a 2 day if you have a shortish drive to it.
Could always get a compression check done on the engine to get an idea of the health of it. It think my buddies Tahoe started having electrical issues way before the motor and transmission.
I’ll be damned, it worked. But mine wasn’t popped out, I just had to give it an extra push in. Question: should I take it in to have that wire connector replaced? Is it gonna be a recurring problem? What could’ve caused it in the first place?!
I'm no mechanic so I am not sure about changing but you could tape so it doesn't come apart. It could have jiggled loose just putting things in the back. So glad it worked!!!!
@@Vman1313 It’s a bit of a bitch getting that panel up though. Was scared to tear it all the way up & couldn’t get my hands in there. Luckily a thin screwdriver did the trick. You’re an honest-to-God lifesaver buddy. I’d by you a case of Heineken if I could. 🙂
I enjoy your channel and especially appreciate the routes you have posted. I had a Silverado PU and bought a deactivation delete kit and it worked very well. Always an option if you buy a newer Tahoe.
Good info thanks! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 2004 I purchased just have reservations on taking it on LONG LONG trips with it having 200K+ miles. I am trusting it more and more but I am realistic that nothing lasts forever and whether its a new motor or transmission, its still a 20+ year old vehicle. Thanks for watching and thanks for the postive comment. Sooooooo appreciated!
I just use a standard flat gopro mount with the 3M tape straight to inside of windshield. I dont like the location because of the reflacton and glares but it is the easiest place to have the camera to control and such. I like putting it better on the outside of the vehicle with a microphone running inside. I will do a whole video on that as I have had some questions about it before. Thanks for watching!
My cameras are DJI Osmo Action (for view from windshield and side mirror) , GoPro Hero 9 (for selfies action shots, and vlog style shots), Garmin VirbXE (usually stays still on a tripod for action shots like water crossings), and the drone is a DJI Mini 3. I'm actually now working on best settings for each as some of my videos quality once uploaded to RU-vid is not as nice as it looks on my computer while editing.
The problem with sharing things toooooo public is the wrong people get out there and jack it up for everyone. That's why my routes no longer have sensitive areas or places cause I don't want to be the one that sends the asshat that destroys or damages areas.
I’m not a doctor but I’ve been studying nutrition and natural health for the last year, and I’m learning that most bodily issues have relatively simple solutions. Im curious if this would work. Try drinking about a tablespoon of baking soda with some water or something before bed. Maybe start with a teaspoon. Please report back
Awe man yeah forgot to show important thing huh!?!? Good catch. Right now it's under/behind the driver seat but hoping to get a proper red bag to hang behind passenger seat head rest for faster reach.
