I will say that coming home to play video games from sun up to sun down kept alot of gamers out of the street away from drugs, violence, teen pregnancy...no offense to people who got caught up in these things but it is true that video games keep the youth occupied and away from risky situations that are too difficult for young people to mentally process with a child's brain still in place....now that I am an adult I realized it is no where near bad growing up as a gamer geek because video games offer simulations and problem solving puzzles so that when we do get older and it's time to be an adult, we put the problem solving skills from puzzle games to use to think our way through adult problems.
