Hello Julie. There was the usual change of personnel and Juanxu (see Bolas Canarias) was the main person running the beach activities. This particular game of French Bowls was organised by Daniel and Cami of Francorosso.

Hi Ben, I believe the kids club opens each day at 10:30 and then again at 14:30 with a break in the middle for lunch. Then there is the Barcy disco each evening at 20:30 for 30 minutes.

Great video. We have been to this lovely hotel twice previously, in 2014 and 2017 (don’t know where the time goes). Would love to go back again next year. Had two wonderful holidays there. Although next time it would be nice to be able to go for two weeks. I like the refurb. The chairs in the stage area look a lot more comfortable than the previous ones. I wonder if the plants hanging down from the ceiling in the reception area are real, and if so how do they keep them alive?! Do you have any videos of a refurbished room? Thanks :)
Thank you for your kind words. IMO the refurb has certainly made the reception area, theatre and restaurant more comfortable. I did not take any video of the room but the main change was the removal of the bath and replacing it with a walk in shower - I think this is a big improvement. I believe the ceiling plants in reception are plastic but they do look real. We love this hotel and have always had a great experience - I am sure you will as well if you decide to go back again.
We are both hoping that a Village People Mark 2 will appear here at some future date. It was a really memorable performance that luckily I captured on video. Cannot believe though that it was January 2019!
@@silvershoes9724 We have indeed and it was incredible!! The service was amazing and they even gave a free room upgrade as it was my mums birthday holiday. We will be looking to go back as soon as we can for sure!!
Hi Graham, glad you liked the video and I am sure you will enjoy it there. We had around 20 degrees during the day but it does drop in the evening so do remember to take a jacket or similar for then. Also we will probably be there during that time so do come and say hello if you see us around.
Hi Clive, you will have no idea who I am but I have visited Feurtaventura with my family around each Jan/Feb for the last 6 years or so and I recognise yourself and your lovely wife from watching the entertainment in the Barcelo. We always rent a villa but like to go to the Barcelo for the nightly shows. We stayed in Correlejo this year but visited Caleta 2 or 3 times over our 2 weeks holiday. Your videos are a kind reminder of our lovely times there and I'm grateful for you uploading them. If our paths cross next year I will be sure to come over and say hello. Blessings to you both.
Clive - so good to see your latest Feb 2023 videos, but wondering if you can help us with a question relating to this and some of your other videos: What is the name of the other song that the animation teams used to dance to before Sette Mari? I've tried to Shazam it with no joy!
Hi Sharon, glad you like them and great to be back there after the pandemic enforced break. The other song they used to play is the Barcelo one which I believe is called the Barcelo Club Dance.
Yes it’s so good to be back after Covid isn’t it - we’ve just been over for the first time since Feb 2020. I’ve dug a little further into the song - I think it’s called “Barcelo Cero Estres” (which translates to “Barcelo Zero Stress”), I wish they’d bring it back - it’s a song I associate with my holidays.
