Life is too short to call in an expert for every little thing. On this channel we'll buildings, work on projects around the house, explore, and at the same time, work on our philosophy of life. From repairing our home, to building cigar box guitars to discussing Stoic philosophy we might do it all. We can do a lot of things ourselves as long as we remember that it doesn't have to be perfect to get the job done!

yea i got scammed as well , i knew it wasnt going to be as advertised LOL but did paint it up a bit and is now on the dash of my VW bus....looks great 😎
Thank you I was gonna purchase this for my father a big collector of ww2 German and Jap stuff. Wow I’d be so pissed off receiving this. Absolutely hate the feeling of being taken!!
Did you get your money back on the helmet lamp plenty of helmet scammers about person in UK buying replica German helmets for £60 ageing them and selling them as original and making a lot of money until caught, I never buy originals? eBay would sort these scammers out and get your money back, if the seller said a replica mini helmet lamp ok then you know what you are getting.
Good video. However, the airplane name is pronounced "ER coupe" not AIR coupe. Ercoupe comes from Engineering Research Co. (ER). The manufacturer is ERCO, thus Ercoupe
How do you keep the fuel in the header tank from getting stale? It never runs dry hopefully, so how do you get it used up and refreshed? Does the header tank drain down into the wing tanks by gravity?
The header tank feeds the carb. The wing tanks cross feed to the right and are pumped via mechanical fuel pump located on the front of the engine to the header tank.
Some of the later iterations were actually named Aircoupe, thus the confusion. 1946 produced 415C and D and many were converted to CDs. No two 76 year old Ercoupes are the same any longer.
The photos and videos of the real relic lamps were stolen from my website and social media by Chinese scammers, did my best to get them taken down but all platforms refused, sorry they got you mate.
@@shanemartin111 I have a helmet that I bought off of a veteran and a bayonet that my grandfather brought to back, but I won't be welding them together anytime soon!
I was luckily able to find your website because I knew the craftsmanship definitely looked more expensive than the knock offs. You do great work! Hoping to maybe buy from you some day. Sorry people use your products pics for knock offs.
Grew up in a 415C '46 vintage. N2078H. My dad taught me sort of how to fly. He had a hard time letting go of the wheel but I did the best I could. He was not a good teacher. The Ercoupe taught me more than he did.
I have seen these for sale on quite a few websites, but I was suspicious! Firstly they don't give any sizes of the lamp. Then they say the helmets are made from "resin" but also from "genuine helmets". Plus they are made in China which most people know does seem to be the counterfeiting capital of the world! The price was also strange, as I see genuine helmets for sale from militaria dealers, and even the ones dug up and rusty sell for quite alot more than what these lamps sell for. Glad someone done a video to show the actual size so others are not scammed, thank you.
I also purchased this “relic” and highly disappointed. But the size of the box it arrived in, I automatically knew I was scammed. Black in black plastic and spray painted silver with no cord that it advertised. Looks exactly like yours. I’ll more than likely keep as a reminder or as a shelf decoration.
