Glad it was helpful, You could route a channel out via XLR from the X32 and into the Neve 1073, but there are internal effects that can likely provide the same effect. -Nathan
I recently started using ProPresenter, but when I press the "Audience" button, my screen goes full screen, and I can't edit anything outside of it. I've watched videos on RU-vid, and that doesn't happen to others. Could it be because of the new update?
Hello so we are having trouble displaying our screen to the big projector we followed your steps we clicked identify but all that showed up was a little picture then nothing happen when we clicked audience is there another way we can show the slide show on the projector without showing our side ?

I have a question in our church we use two computers one for OBS and other one for pro presenter. With the obs with project the cameras on the lateral screens but on the main screen we can’t put the cameras. What can I do to be able to project cameras in the main screen .
Hi, If you'd like to show cameras on the screens I'd suggest using a Hardware Video switcher such as the ATEM Mini Extreme, or the ATEM Constellation switcher. Bring in the graphics and cameras to the switcher, Then send the ATEM output to the screens. Basically, build the Live Stream Locally, then use that on the screens. Don't try to create a separate feed. If you used the constellation switcher, you could bring in ProPresenter, + cameras, then send output 1 to the side screens, and output 2 to the center screen. Now you can use a StreamDeck to switch between showing cameras, and ProPresenter on each screen being fed from the switcher. -Nathan R
Can you please help Me? I have a camera that sends a feed to a TV in a different room in the Church, for the parents to see the service. I would like them to be able to see the words to the songs and the scriptures. How Can i Get the camera feed into the computer for pro presenter 7 to use it?
I would recommend sending your stream feed to the TVs in your building, focus on building that and then send a copy to the TVs. You would need to use a BlackMagic Design Recorder 3G to get the video into ProPresenter, but the better recommendation would be to use a video switcher to bring in the video, as well as the graphics from ProPresenter7. Use an ATEM Constellation 1/ME and then send the output to the streaming encoder, or use a ATEM Extreme that has a built in streaming encoder, it also has 2 HDMI out, one for Multiview and the second for going to the TVs in the building after you convert to SDI. 😀 -Nathan
So this will allow me to mirror my iMac to my SmallHd indie 7 monitor? I'm trying to use the EL Zone system that's on my smallhd, to view movies that I stream on my iMac.
The Copyright Look is setup with the intended "copyright" slide on a Theme layer. Then when that Look is active, it will be shown on the StreamOut Layer. -Nathan R

@@CrazyAmazingDesigns I have gotten great value in watching the videos. we are a very low membership church in rural Alaskan Bristol Bay. Just trying to keep the people who are further out than us in the extreme rural areas hooked in with the gospel. People seem to watch small channels that are closer to home than the larger churches in the cities. IMHO. Need. to keep costs down as we ramp up tech in and out of the church building. Gods speed in all you do.
Hello Great video! I have a problem, we click the identify buttom and the other outputs showed the mac information as it should, but we cant get rid of the information now. Do you know how to remove that identify information! Thank you!
If you click identify and the identifier does not go away, then re-start ProPresenter. I would reach out to support if that does not work, they are quick to respond and this sounds like a weird BUG I have not heard about. -Nathan
Although it is at risk of replacement due to it looking like we recorded the service on a potato, but luckily it isn’t used for the livestream, it is used on a legacy system that makes dvd copies of the service for shut ins
@@nathanharrellyoutube Tragic. The worst part is these cameras are not even (so cheap it does not matter). Potatoes do not make great recordings, I mentioned the image quality of these is also lacking, some of that is because they are mounted 110 ft from the stage at the end of their digital zoom LOL! -Nathan
@@CrazyAmazingDesigns Our stage is a lot closer to the back of our sanctuary which is where it is mounted and the live stream camera is in a booth right below it.

Automating Lyrics requires some sort of Constant. That is usually some sort of Backing track that the Band is playing to. To Time the Slides to the Music, you would need to automate it to a music track. Lyric Slides are not as consistent as for Example every 7.43 seconds apart. -Nathan R
I currently recommend the Mac Studio Computers. They are $2K and do 5 Display Outputs including the operator screen. -Nathan R. With Macs it's more about the display count you need.
I know people say you're moving too fast... but ...I actually love it. My brain runs at that speed to get the big picture. However, I work much slower for details. You can always pause the video or replay a section for this. When I'm watching one of these how-to videos it's usually because I'm in a hurry and have a deadline. I don't have time to wait for long explanations with too many options to consider. I need it to be succinct and to the point. I made sure to like & subscribe because you will be my go-to. In this case, I have a funeral to prepare for and someone is giving me a flash drive of pictures & songs. And you just made an easy work flow for me. Thank you sooo much!
Our worship service recently purchased an X32 Compact coupled with an S16 stage box. It seems to me that when routing the inputs and outputs that it is an "all or nothing" setup. You either input Channels 1-16 at the back of the mixer or through the stage box, same with the ouitputs 1-8. Is there a way to divide the inputs and outputs so that certain types of equipment can be located near the mixer, such as wireless mic recievers? Also, the same for outputs? In our situation I would like to keep our wireless recievers (which require one input each), as well as our hearing assist system, which requires one output. I have attempted to "split" the rouiting but by doing so, I either cancel out all signals going through the AES, or vice versa.
Routing used to be as you say "All or Nothing" Really it was Banks of 8. The USER Routing is how you avoid the Banks of 8, You need to configure things so that USER IN 1-32 are selected, then you can pick and choose for each input. No, The same amount of text has to be on each screen. ProPresenter does a great job of creating multiple outputs of the same content in different configurations. But not different content on the different slides. -Nathan R

Thanks for the helpful tips. I'm creating a checklist and your video sounded like a good start. Just one question though. I understand that the stream quality setting does NOT impact the recorded video, only the streamed quality. I think USB-C to a solid state disk can get about 70mb/s instead of about a tenth of this. I'm pretty sure it was in an Alex Pettitt video he claimed he'd incorrectly stated the stream settings impact on recorded video, but worked out this wasn't correct. Anyway thanks again - nice job
Hi, I'm not sure what Alex said, but These ATEM switchers only have the single encoder so whatever settings you choose, those same quality settings apply for Streaming and the SSD recording. That means users can't record in the best quality possible to the SSD, and then stream in a lower quality because of bandwidth issues. -Nathan
Great video with some helpful points. I don’t agree with the operator worshipping when operating though. That is something very different to do, the operator gets lost in worship and wonders why the slides aren’t advancing and then remembers that is their job 😂 When tech operators are on duty, they are serving and that is their worship for that time. When I am a camera operator, I watch the service back after, as I haven’t heard the true content when operating.
I think there is a balance, If we loose track of the Worship, then we loose track of the WHY we do this is. Yes people gotta pay attention, but they also need to be into what they are doing. -NathanR
Yes. The ODE needs connected to the production network for access during an event, and that network gets internet through the WAN port on the router. -Nathan R

Using Mac for Restream, connect with USB C back of ATEM blackmagicpro. Using 2nd monitor to display all the plugins at same time. How do we connect a Projector to a screen {noTV} up front {needs the INPUT} on ATEM?? 2nd PC is Windows using as PREVIEW shot. Where should we plugin all to back ATEM? Help?
Hi, So you are sending the ATEM Program feed to the computer via USB-C for streaming with Re-Stream. Then you have an input to the ATEM Mini Pro from a computer, and I'm not really sure what the issue is. Can you share more? :) Thanks! -Nathan R

Where do I plugin the 2nd PC Windows ? Where do I plugin the MONITOR showing all the full screen Preview, Program, Cam 1, etc pages ? Need to know where to plug everything in. we lost the INHOUSE video when we switched to RESTREAM & quit using the QUICKTIME in the MAC for inhouse video... what are the MAC connections when using ATEM Blackmagic PRO? and where should all the other connections go when using a PROJECTOR & not TV for OUTPUT inhouse

Amazing work Can I ask do you connect the octo mk2 directly to the laptop ,and then to the led strip and then elm controls it all ? I'm looking to buy a system and enttec say I need a play sp 1 ??? What does that do ??? Is it essential ???
Hello, The "Enttec Play SP 1" would only be necessary as a controller for playback of a fixed show. I connect the OCTO MKii to the network, then my computer running ELM or Resolume Arena Pixel Sopftware connects to the OCTO(s) via the network connection. You could connect the OCTO directly to the laptop, but then you can't connect to other devices, I have a network setup so I can have wireless access and additional devices connected via ethernet. -Nathan R
Yes, according to goole you can extend your desktop to more than one Apple TV. It won't be as fast of a response time as the wired connction, so I'd advise against it for mission critical screens such as Lyrics. It could be good for Lobby Digital Signage TVs for example. -Nathan R
1. Know the songs - I listen to the songs we sing at church over and over. TIP: Add labels to slides that will give you info such as long breaks or intros. Not fun to put up a slide too early. 2 & 4. I find people advance the slides way too slow and people can't read the words in time. 6. Blank slides are a biggie. Add a label with the length of the break for even more help. Also good to add a blank slide to the end of every song so you don't have to use the clear bar or go to the next song.
Agreed! There is likely even more stuff I missed and could have said on this topic. Slide Labels are good, There is a level of how much we expect our non paid team memebers to know the songs and be proficient. In this video I was thinking more about what advice can i give to the 65% of people who still can't get out of the "How do we make it better, but we can't practice or listen to the songs." -Nathan R
Thinking about your post the other day about video ideas. This is a great one. As a long time cam op, that is now video directing and has done ProPresenter for a couple services, this will really help people. One thing I would love to implement at church is custom CLEAR ALL bars. They only have one and are always afraid to press it. Making multiple bars shrinks the main one.
Black bars work but a slightly transparent rectangle that spans the whole width of the screen and starts at the bottom (both lines on the same rectangle) looks cleaner in my opinion.
I'm using 16 strips of WS2812B LED Strip x 8ft, with an Enttec OCTO MKii controller to push the content. The OCTO is then receiving Art-Net data over the network from Resolume Arena running on a Mac, which is receiving an NDI video signal (showing lyrics) from ProPresenter 7. -Nathan R
You know you don't have to go through manually rerouting the whole thing every time you need to switch from Recording to Playback mode, right? (Everything you did starting at 9:00) You can just use the rightmost Encoder on the Routing / Input page to change the settings from Recording to Play and then press the Encoder to actually make the switch.
@@CrazyAmazingDesigns yeah, this button seems to be some sort of an undocumented new addition. Even in the official User Manual, on page 38, there’s a screenshot of the Routing/Home screen, and this button ain’t on it.
