ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a wild and crazy brain response to certain sounds, visuals, or even actions. You feel tingles, extreme relaxation, and/or anxiety relief. Some people have it triggered via whispering, eating, mouth sounds, slime, Bob Ross, or the light licks of a million puppies. Even those light pets your significant other traces on your back to help you fall asleep! That's ASMR! It's science!

My personal "trigger" is sponges; ripping, squishing, freezing, soaping, scratching, and anything else I dream up. Sometimes I will get into some chalk and soap carving, but it's mainly sponges. This started from watching videos on Instagram, then it progressed when I felt how meditative ripping and handling sponges actually is. Now I share it with the world here and on Instagram.
