Narrated by Abu Amer: He heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Among my nation there will be people who consider adultery, wearing silk, drinking alcohol, and playing music....” [Sahih Al-Bukhari 5590] In this hadith, he mentioned musical instruments along with clear prohibitions, such as alcohol, wearing silk (for men), and adultery. [Sahih al-Bukhari 3931]Some scholars say that the permissible instruments are the darbuka and the tambourine.
where the money comes from: when you upload a video and people watch it. Between videos, RU-vid publishes ads. This is how RU-vid mainly makes money. And you receive a small percentage of that money. Therefore, scholars say that if those advertisements contain prohibited things, alcohol, women...the money you receive will be haram. Most ads contain music or indecency
