You are welcome...to get the right level of crispy taste, it depends on the ripeness of the plantain. You don't want a plantain that's too soft/ripe. You should be able to hold your plantain without it melting in your hand. I hope this helps.
Hello lovely watch. So I tried making mine to keep as snacks. Kept in a Jar however it got back in a few days. I can't sundry cos of rodents pleade how else can I go about draining the oil and other moisture
Thank you, how Ripe was the plantain you used? The plantain should not be over Ripe and the oil should be hot before putting the plantain in it. It seems like the plantain soaked up a lot of oil.
I got mine off amazon. Here is the link. A quick Google search of handheld slicers can bring up other similar option s OXO Good Grips Handheld Mandoline Slicer, White/Black amzn.eu/d/dTW20SS

Yes, it can last to up to 6 months. After frying, make sure it is properly aired and any excess oil is cleaned( patt off with kitchen towel) with a tissue before storing in an airtight container. All the best
@@le3mshandmadehavenI can easily tell you that what you have planted is efo shoko and not tete because I farm them commercially in Lagos Nigeria along with ugu, ewedu etc. The leaf you have planted has another subspecies with dark red spots on it along with a local variety with white flowers instead of pink
I love contents like this and grew potatoes for the first time last year, not knowing what to expect too...I had a decent harvest too. Nice to see children get involved. Nice share
