We are glad to have you back buddy! I've see many videos of the power of water whether it's storm surges or flooding rains. Our prayers go out to all people affected by this storm. So we are on the gradual decline as October is the 3rd active month with hurricane development. It would be nice to have some of these fall troughs from the north to push se but don't see it much. Alberta has had 30° lows starting up there but seems to move from west east. Have a great rest of your week along with everyone here.. stay safe.🌎🎛🐈🌞

Prayers for everyone effected by Helen and prayers for all people here in our Falling Nation. May God have mercy on us all and interevene in these storms. Man may have hus hand in steering and manipulating these symptoms but our Lord and Savior will protect those who believe and have faith in him.

We rode out the hurricane on the 20th floor oceanfront Myrtle beach. Was wild! Came home up here to no power, basement flooded, trees down but praise God no real damage

Dear Mitch and prayer circle : prayers for my friend who was injured seriously after near electrocution in her home as water crept into her home. Evacuate when told.
I rode the eye of hurricane Camille on the Gulf Coast in Aug 1969 and it was ferocious, and as you mentioned the sound Mitch, a sound I will never forget, it was definitely demonic there is no other way to describe it. I was eight years old at the time and was able during the first pass of the eye wall, was able to stand in a stairwell facing south and was not scared at all but was in awe as I watched even cars being blown across adjacent parking lots. It was like straight out of a movie. Most wind gauges shut down as winds reached just over 200 miles per hour...Some things you never forget.This storm also came during the time of much economic turmoil and many in the nation snubbing their noses at God..just sayin 🤔

Commiserations on your losses brother. My comment to other meteorologists in the first week of August was, late September and all of October, intensity of the hurricanes would be catastrophic. Climatology suggested it, and also the late monsoon season. And unless we change our way of damaging the earth’s ecosystems I am sorry to say our coming generation would reap the worst of what we are seeing now.😂
I’d appreciate prayers for family on the edge of Asheville. I heard one update they were OK 2 days ago, but nothing since. I realize communications are limited and life is overwhelming. Many friends have been displaced as well. Prayers for all impacted by Helene.
Good morning Mitch and weather friends, it's been so dry up here in southern Vermont so the leaves are mostly yellow and brown, just a small amount of red right now.warm during the day and cooler nights so semi fall like here.
