Student, writer, and lover of music. On this channel I share a large part of my collection of classical music recordings, picked up over the last ten years through purchases, loans, borrowings, gifts, etc.
The locals here do not want me to comment. But utube is great❤ i love the Beatles and the Stones and all, but Handel is greatest and always will be. Neverthess, Im up for termination so my opion probably only matters to me.
Definitely has Telemann's stamp and calibre of Wit, and may have snubbed Mattheson a bit, who took great exception at the multitude of Animals in the utterly delightful Spring Cantata : Alles redet itzt und singet! Don't forget too}}} the fab dialogue, really funny from the Alster-Echo Suite (TWV55:F11) Frogs & Crows!! Which I always read as Pompous men and whining Women/wives?? Humour of a special musical kind! Musik always full of that sparkling Esprit!
A miracle - this cantata. Sublime !!!! I am a Bach lover since childhood, Now in 80s. No music greater to play on the organ, alone at night in a dark and empty church.... JSB, the organ, me and God... The first time I have heard this BWV 8 !!! And note the blackbird... aka 'death' ??? there running against the triple metre in a duple metre... won't leave.... not threatening... just ever present.. hovering... but maybe its the Bach's cuckoo clock...

io sono una discendente diretta di Lucio Cornelio Silla ..solo ora ho scoperto che un grande genio della musica immortale..come Mozart ..ha dedicato un'opera al mio grande Avo ..
It's incredible to see Mozart already writing such profound andante and adagio movements at the tender age of 16, as seen here and in the other early divertimenti K. 136 - 138. And the second minuet really foretells Mozart's talent for minuets and trios.
Boycott every company whose ads interrupt music, especially when they can’t even wait for the movement to be completed. In this case, it’s Owens-Corning, the boorish swine.
Saint Simeon pray for us. What a treasure to translate the Old Testament into Greek LXX, live almost 300 years and see the God-Man in the flesh. What a glorius life! What a glorius death! What a gift for Bach to honor with such beauty.
