What’s good everyone! This is a channel dedicated to the art of Action Cinema from all over the world. From color grading, sound, choreography, different releases, comparisons, reviews and a bunch of other stuff. Also, that good Cinema I grew up too during the crack era in NYC. From Channel 5 to Public Access, ya know the deal!
Yeah! I am so glad my mom taught me The Cantonese Language. Bruce is a fascinting guy nd he talk about how he got into the HK film industry. This was one of the best Doc-interviews in the last 10 years1 Congrats guys!
The accordion was probably the best I’ve seen in terms of quality and getting the discs in and out with no problem. Already checked out the enter the clones doc and was good. Looking forward to diving into the set!
Great video as always. I'm looking forward to a picture comparison between Eureka and Spectrum 😊 which is released later in july. I also have the Hong Kong Film Archive version on Blu Ray which is a pretty cool edition but with burnt in subs which take away some of the atmosphere.
So funny !!! I watched Goodbye Bruce Lee , His Last Game of Death and in the deleted scenes there is a tower fight scene where Bruce Li fights a Muhammad Ali lookalike who fights with his mouth as well as his fists !!!!
That was a great interview guys. Overall it turned out really good and glad you could get this exclusive. Just some unsolicited advice, during future discussions leave out the background music, and try to have a mic(s) when you're recording because the sound can be faint and difficult to hear
I appreciate you. We were not going to have music in the background but due to all the noise around the hotel inside and out we decided to drown that out. This was last minute and we didn’t expect to have all four in the room. This experience taught us we need to invest in some microphones to avoid something like this again. Thanks for the feedback fam 🙏🏻
I love how energetic, fun and humble Bruce Le is! Hes just as awesome as ever. Oh and the soundtrack from the original Shadow Warrior in the background, nice.
Is out of print. You have to use a proxy server like Buyee to get it off a Japanese auction site. If you are on Twitter hit me up there and I’ll see how I can help you.
HK Blu-Ray seems like it's missed with it's colors. Vinegar Syndrome got a lot of it right, the colors, the resolution, the grain and the sharpness. Good comparison sir.
The movie the young dragon 1979, was mentioned in the documentary, hopefully that one will make volume two. Depends if they have the print without licensing or other way around.
I guess I gotta be that guy who likes the VS colour grade more! lol. Both transfers look great, I think this is another case of you can't go wrong with either, just have to pick what features/sound options you want.
Even though I love VS and buy a lot of their titles I already have the Eureka release and I think I will be sticking with that version. I like that it is a bit brighter and the colors pop just a little bit more. Both seem like solid transfers though.
