So out of all these Deadpool-same score I saw the tv glow-I’m opposite. Didn’t like it. Cuckoo-I liked it a little more The Bikeriders-pretty boring. Didn’t do much for me. Winnie the Pooh-much better than the 1st. Aliens I liked over alien but, I’m not a huge fan of the franchise overall.
I like the Alien franchise but it’s not one I have much nostalgia for. I do enjoy the movies for what they are. What’s up bikeriders right like it’s completely forgettable. I didn’t really expect more from it, it was just boring. I can see why you didn’t like i saw the tv flow.
No, nothing in this movie is for Gen Z. My children are Gen Z, they laughed at the music and made me turn it off. And they were actually INSULTED by how the director thought they were all drug addicts. So glad they shit all over Brandon Lee's legacy for this joke of a movie. 😡

The reason why Disorder by Joy Division was included is because the song is in the comic book. It is probably the only decision that I happen to agree with.
Did not know that. I have never read the comic. The song still doesn’t make sense with the tone of the movie. It’s unfortunate because it’s a great song.
i feel it came through in his acting that Bill didn't even enjoy playing it lol, its like deep down he knew it was gonna be shit, and so he didn't put much effort in
it seems from this version of the Crow certain elements from the book didn't explain them well to sell in elements from the movie then explain them well and try to do it's own thing at the same time which made this movie into a total mess.let the band Joy Division the original creator of the Crow was a big fan of the band Joy Division and in the book named through the characters after people from Joy Division .
I wanna know how the whole shelly comong back to life thing works. It looks like shellys sould went back in time cause she couldnt be revived if she was dead the entire time it took eric to kill everyone.. and erics body is next to her so are the bad guys dead? And if so how? Its makes no damn sense
That ending really made no sense. The whole movie is a hallucination in Eric’s head from him losing oxygen apparently haha! The bad dudes are still alive and still goring to come after Shelley ooopps! Terrible ending.
What pissed me off the most about this remake was how eric and shelly were killed. Plastic bags over the heads while their hands are free grabbing the the arm of the person suffocating them and didnt even attempt to rip the plastic bag . A small poke to make a hole could have helped them as they tried to fet the arm from around the neck.. idk. Whenevr i see someone killed by a plastic bag over the head while their arms are flailing around instead of ripping the plastic, it always takes he out of the moment . I also have the same complaints as everyone else with the look of eric draven with short hair and hes a drug addict . No fun banter when killing someone like brandon lees crow did mixing poetry and with jis natural wit . Then theres was how helpless this new eric draven was in a fight without a gun or sword. The theres shelly who came off as a selfish drug addict that is jist using eric to escape ger messed up life . And the end, shelly coming back to life. The point of eric coming back to kill theor killers was so his soul could rest and be with shelly eternally. Here eric comes back and kills the people that wanted to kill shelly, and shelly gets to live in peace now while eric is gone forever. No eternal loce cause shelly is young and alive so she will find a new man to love after eric gave his life to save her
Yeah the deaths didn’t seem so “tragic.” The bag over the head was lame. And the story doesn’t make them seem so innocent to where they would need to be avenged. I’m not sure what Bill Skarsgard was attempting to do with this character but he didn’t make him charming, clever or just like-able.
I'm a huge fan of the original Crow and soundtrack. In an era when we couldn't look up songs on spotify in the 90's, the soundtrack introduced us to a goth/industrial vibe. I appreciate in the 2024 version a nod to the 90's...Joy Division, Gary Newman 'The Killer' by Phil Keiran. Great choices. I was excited they made a reboot. Not a remake. It's not bad. Bill Skarsgard is Awesome and looks Great as the Crow. FKA Twigs is so cute. Their on-screen chemistry is so good! I like that they spent time developing the characters. Building off of his childhood trauma, self harm and depression. Shelly essentially saves him and brings light and meaning to his life. All the more reason for him to go on a killing spree and self sacrifice to save her soul. It's not about avenging her death as the first one. I think it's a great origin story. The movie does drag on, but the action is worth the wait.
I find casual enjoyment of the original film. The soundtrack is superb. In some sense I can appreciate the nod with some of the song choices in this film but still felt they were out of place with the overall vibe of the movie. I can appreciate more character development, generally speaking, but I just don’t feel it made me care about the characters enough to root for them. Thanks for watching and commenting! They def should've really leaned into the bit, and yeah, as more of a soundcloud mumblerapper Eric, and they should've made Shelly Webster into a really ratchet cookie monster pj's girl, and I would've respected that.
I haven't seen it yet, but they're probably lucky that Borderlands came out the same year and people are touting that as the worst movie of the year. The Crow may slide under the radar as "one of the worst" rather than the worst for this reason alone.

I've seen where some people are labeling the movie as a romance, so another toxic romance movie out in theaters..... At least that's what a lot of women are saying it is it's a romance. I don't remember the first one being romantic, it had their love of course but it was not romantic
Nice Oppenheimer I got in the collection. Most of these I haven’t seen. I would suggest good will if you have them or really any thrift store. If you’re looking for DVDs used here in Florida it’s very easy so I wonder if it’s the same in your area. And if you are looking for something in particular let me know as the DVDs at good will here are a dollar.
Never seen any of Dexter. Sasquatch was an interesting movie. I enjoyed it. The coffee table I’ll need to watch at some point. Kinds of Kindness it got weirder and weirder as it went on. Beau is afraid was a wild ride. I enjoyed it. Longlegs- I liked it. Lots of mixed horror genres. Nic Cage did a good job as always. Maxxxine-yeah that had a lot of hype and I think for many it didn’t deliver as well as we all thought it would. Only ever seen the first Beverly Hills cop. Oddity- I agree basic story but effective.
Dexter was good until the last season…thought it was a mess. Beverly Hills cop is just a fun franchise. The new was thankfully on par, at least in my opinion. Appreciate you taking the time, dude!
I can agree with the soundtrack it wasn’t my style either. I gave it a 2 1/2. It was ok but, i agree I like the original better. I could have done without the love triangle too.
I honestly haven’t seen any of these movies. I use to have a lot of Disney movies on vhs. We did record some movies from the tv as well. I don’t own any vhs anymore but, the popularity seems to be coming back again.

See, its not about being scary for me. Its the psychological mind fu@# and vibe of the movie and seeing Cage step into a different element was nice to see. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. Comparing it to 7 and or silence of the lambs is a stretch for me. But i see the symbolism that would make one lean that way. Over all, worth a watch
Definitely agree. There some elements in the film that allow for comparison to seven or sotl but this is really it’s own unique vision. And those films don’t have the amazing Cage! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Seems many were disappointed with this. There seemed alot of hype amongst everyone including yourself. I liked the atmospheric vibes but, I did wish more gore was there.
Yup! The atmosphere, vibes and soundtrack were on point. It’s just everything else fell really flat. I kept telling myself “I should really like this movie…but I kinda don’t”
Agree that nothing new was learned. I assume if we got too deep into the alien origins we’d get an Independence Day type of film, which I’d be down to see. I liked the characters enough that it sold me on the movie.
Yeah this was terrible. That jumping out the window scene was awful. Also, this actually has no relation to the popes exorcist. This was filmed in 2019 before popes exorcist. Had some issues where they had to reshoot. There is a sequel to popes exorcist being worked on though.
We thought it would be funny if we reference it as a popes exorcist sequel because of its similarities in theme and sub-genre and starring Russell Crowe. I figure they’re all gonna be bad films. lol 😂
Yeah that Sasquatch movie that company is cheap with their releases they never have really any special features and if they do they are brief and they never do digital codes.
