Hi Peter. I don't know if you've done a video on this before, but could you do one on calibrating the machine on Masso g3. As in discrepancies over a 2m run. The guy who built my machine and normally does this, unexpectedly and sadly passed away last week.
Hello Peter I'm having a hard time wiring the 4th axis to my clearpath servo you send me a email I'm not sure how my Masso is G2 and it just has 3 input and the clearpath has 4 wires some help please or a video
Another excellent video. Your videos helped me build my first home-brew CNC router system years ago. Now I'm expecting a Onefinity with the Masso controller in a few weeks and again, your videos are a great help. One question about this video, as it was recorded in 2019, is there anything different when setting up a Huanyang VFD with the current version of the Masso controller?
Thank you for this video! I was inconsistent in the order I changed tools resulting in work being destroyed. Having the content of your video made all the difference!
My masso link is just flashing connecting. I am on the network made from my masso controller but it never seems to transfer over. I have a g3 fresh out the box and my masso link is at the most recent version of software.
Hi Peter , masso G3 touch probe, I ask how X,Y,Z run same time for test make sure right area. where find button on screen ? I'm new learner new machine . cheer
Masso link says "connecting" for over an hour. Followed this steps. Deleted tried again. Masso AI could not trouble shoot. Thought was because dual band router so tried swapping to same 2.4 band on pc and masso controller (since this is all it will use). Still "connecting" on pc. Masso says connected. Any suggestions?
@williamthrasher8442 yes it had something to do with entering in the wrong IP address I believe. It did not matter which band the computer was on. I looked it up on the black screen and typed in what it said it was, but it was incorrect address. If you email masso support they are very helpful and all though it took a cpl days of emailing back and forth they did reply and walk me through it.
So I'm trying to learn the offset function on my G3 Touch. Does the Z axis always stay at home when I ask for G55 offset? No matter what I enter for a Z value on the offsets page, the Z doesn't move off of home.
Should be fine if you make one video with instructions how to calibrate the axis with masso ! Thanks in advance -only this stopping me to buy masso ...
If you get a tool setter with the over limit switch, make sure you get the normally open one. If you get a normally closed device, you can invert the signal for the tool setter input no problem, but you won't be able to combine the over limit side of the switch with the Stop Cycle button because that is normally open. Combining the 2 cancels each other out and there's no way to assign another cancel cycle button to an input.
This video would be much better if you would have shown less of yourself and the stockpics but rather explain it in a circuit diagram with your Oszi pictures. But thanks for your time. 🙏
I really love that you have all these videos! They are about 90% of the reason i can feel confident that i get what i want out of the masso G3, and that is WELL WORTH the premium that the system costs. Very much appreciated!
Have a look at this video on wiring motors to MASSO. It will show how to connect a drive to the 4th and 5th axis of a G2 when you have 4 wires on the drive. Also feel free to ask on the MASSO Forum. Cheers Peter
Like this video any video that explains auto tool change made step by step from scratch.... I am searching a lot but i couldn't find one for MASSO G3 driver
