Very interesting comments and insights! That said, there's one thing I will push back on: there's nothing "Kpop" about this song or video. BTS transcended Kpop years ago, and JK is aiming to create nothing less than world-class pop now. JK and his team succeeded in making one of this year's top pop songs and one of the top videos in the world. Period. (There is nothing significant about the tunnel, especially since they are popular across different musicians, genres, countries, and time periods.)
From my perspective, 'I Got You' is like Part Two of 'The Best Thing I Ever Did'. Both songs are light and airy and are love songs, each member singing to the other members and to the fans. Can't help but love them for their positivity along with everything else about them. The world needs more positivity like this. :)
Hi, I read the comments here, there are lots of Choices who like and are enthusiastic about recommending songs from A.C.E. I suggest you to marathon reactions of them and I'm sure you will see how talented these male idols are with different music genres. In fact, they often cover Kpop and Western songs☺️
OMG as an Ahgase and Choice that meme was the first thing I thought about when I watched this MV 💚❤️ BTW if you love GOT7 you will love A.C.E.. They're my two ult groups.. I'm actually suprised that A.C.E actually managed to snatch my attention because GOT7 has always been my group, but discovering A.C.E has been amazing and they're actually a lot like GOT7 in many ways 🥰 Also they're amazing vocalists and performers.. I can really recommend Savage, Favourite Boys(flashing lights in the MV), Higher, Changer.. Their b-sides Slow Dive, Star, Do It Like Me and their covers of Empty Space, Youngblood, In My Blood and How You Like That 😊

I totally understand. What I found off-putting was AleXa's reaction to the music video, which in itself was odd and made me view the entire video in a different, even worse light. She didn't take the violence and brutality seriously, and she was laughing at it and cheering it on, and it just felt inappropriate.
Absolutely not, which is why I found the ending so shocking when we actually see her go through with "finishing him off." It is very brutal and not something I agree with at all. But I do still give credit where it is due for the choreography and direction. Regardless of the storyline, a lot of work went into this music video, and they took a huge risk in making it.
I've never seen this video. I've only ever seen Sick in live clips and on Kelly Clarkson's Show. This video is rather appalling. The usual American random, stylized violence which is why I don't like Hollywood movies. Same old, same old. But I love Sick as a song! That wistful disappointment in life. It makes me think of Avril Lavigne's Complicated.
I completely agree with you. I actually considered putting up a disclaimer of my own regarding the violence in the video. I thought it was great at first watch because I can see how much work went into the choreography and the direction. AleXa is almost doing actual stunts. As a fan of hers, it was just crazy to see that she could pull that off, like she's in an action or drama film. But watching it back, I also thought it was very brutal and, although I love the lyrics for being so bold and different, the severity of violence in the video was unnecessary. The story of the song could have been depicted another way. I can see this video being very triggering for many with PTSD and I do wonder how the concept was decided on.

Another good song would be higher the mv is sooo beautiful. + just wanted to say that Jun -the guy that obviously is your potential baise said in a radio interview that the song is about finding yourself and your life and that's how they want others to interpret the song but since they are singing this song for their fans they uses the word girl. so, i do not think this song is about working hard to impress others
You can't go wrong with A.C.E, I recommend it all. Cactus was their debut song, all their mv's, b-sides, osts, covers. Especially watch their "It's live performances and their dance practices and if you want to really deep dive they have Vlives and busking videos, and Clover is a personal favorite of mine (Junhee, your new bias wrote that) the Turntable performance is one of my fa favorites because I love the simple choreo they have for it. Honestly, they really have a lot of extra content.

I also got the flutes from Boz Scaggs' "Dirty Low Down"m Bass lines from The Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight, and Kurtis Blow's "These Are The Breaks" and some rhythm from the Chic dance music era such as "I Want Your Love".BTW, did the limo drivers fight scene make you think of MJ's "Beat It" and "Bad" videos? They are known for being able to do the hardest choreography in Kpop. Even though they are puppies in this video, check out Undercover for a completely different vibe.
Oh, good to see Got7 fan reacting to A.C.E. Recently they did a challenge with Yugyeom 😊. Also Donghun (the copy guy) participated in the show I Can See Your Voice where Got7 were invited guests and they performed together at the end. It was funny and cute.

Another song with the same vibe as this one is Take me Higher. Also without Yu Chan as he was at that time, promoting with UNB. 3. If you wanna try a more hard concept/music from A.C.E my recommendation would be UNDER COVER. 4. Park Junhee could be your bias. Yuchan the Maknae is not in this mv as he was finishing his military service. Donghun was copy guy, WOW turned into a robot, and Byeongkwan was the one madly working the phones. I would suggest starting with Under Cover, Savage, and Take Me Higher. For something more intense, I'd recommend Under Cover, Goblin, and Higher. For intense feelings, Stand By You or one of their vocal covers can never go wrong.
Yes A.C.E!! They arent called ace for nothing ❤️ If you want a genre like this one, i’d recommend Changer, Down and Take Me Higher 😊 if you want a rock vibe, Higher, Undercover, Savage, Goblin. For an EDM side, Cactus and Callin. They have amazing english covers as well as korean covers (How you like that & Twice Medley) I hope you get to know the boys more. They are so precious human beings.
