In classic WoW terms, it's like a raid geared Warlock coming to Goldshire, nuking the extremely low level guards, and summoning 5 Doomguards from their corpses.
Those that didnt run at ainz side really stood their ground with balls of steel. Even with fear still standing straight. But those who run just cant help to seek refuge for what they witness a true absolute power.
And also how the guy in-between these clips says 'Wow, what a devastating spell, to kill so many men instantly', and Ainz says 'that wasn't the spell, that was the sacrifice to summon the Dark Young'; that was just a spell component.
Ainz in his own world is a semi pro player at best not even a proper pro player, and the game became boring or obselete so that it got shutdown, it is not the power of ainz or its character its just the potrayal of it, any person would feel bored/uninterested when pro player beats mediocre people, here pro players are beating beginners but everything is hyped so weird, and skills like black hole, grasp heart they dont even work on people on the same level.
Everyone forgets here ainz is a simple worker that played the game all his life other than working, were there were many people that can defeat him very easily while having many things to juggle in their life, and he wouldnt need to work if he is so popular in my opinion he is just a lucky guy that played the game until it got closed thats it.
I’m pretty sure they more or less say that he was very skilled in the game and was easily one of the most powerful members in his guild. Not that “he was the best person to ever play the game” but just your average guy that got pretty into it.
This is what happens if you associate your normal, stupid humanoid being's character with full feelings, so that he doesn't feel anything. A person should live with his knowledge and ideals, not just his feelings.
-Okay, what was that? +Death. -What kind? + Instant. -There was no sound! They just died! +Yeah, terrifying. It's a terrifying thing to watch happen. It's called a deterrent
That hourglass is a cash shop item that lets him instantly cast super-tier spells. Normally it takes time to cast the spells. Since he no longer has access to the cash shop, it seems wasteful to use an item he can't replace anymore. You'd think he would just take his time since he wasn't under any threat here.
