Hi! I’m about to start home ed with my 4 yr old (so would be going to school next month). He’s my eldest so all new to me but have been looking at my local Facebook groups and asking questions etc haha. This was really helpful though thank you!! My son sometimes doesn’t want to write, as says he does it wrong etc, so I need to try to get past that. I need to start thinking what specific things to do although like you say I know it’s all about play at this age (but also want to may be a bit more intentional about it!!). Anyway sorry for the ramble! Thank you for sharing 😊😊xx
@@HelenGraceC eek good luck to you. It's such an exciting journey and I'm learning everyday. I'll try to get a plan together and post a video of a few more specific ideas. X
@@Homeschooling_mum thank you!! Think I’m a bit nervous because I know I have a baby too so it’s a lot to fit in lol but guess I’ll get in the swing of things at some point!!!!!! That would be fab! Thank you xx
Decorate a rich tea biscuit, treasure hunt to find a biscuit at the end (most of my ideas do end in a biscuit but we only have biscuits once a day around 10.30)
I vary my shopping between asds, sainsburys and occasionally tesco, it's nice to see sainsburys coming in cheaper in some areas! they have a better variety of items for the most part
So happy to have found your channel! Would love to see a day/week summary of what your older children do for home education - I’m seriously considering home educating my eldest (who has severe dyslexia) when he finishes year 6 so we would be starting afresh in the secondary phase at home. There are so many great online lessons but he struggles to learn without face to face interaction and I’m trying to form a plan of action! Thanks so much for all the wonderful content and have an amazing summer! 😊
@@ekaterinabotziou I'll make a video about it. I think home schooling secondary school can be daunting, but so far we're finding it quite straight forward. X
Hi recently found your channel. We are a uk family and we have just deregistered our six year old for September. Very nervous but very excited. He has struggled this year in many ways I have never homeschooled I am nervous about the social side but he has four other siblings three older one younger so it’s always busy here 🤦🏻♀️. I know it’s going to be great for him to give him the time and flexibility he needs and he loves the outside. I have really found your content helpful. Enjoy your summer 😀
@@tillyadby1652 ah its a scary choice to make but once you start you won't look back. I love homeschooling and all the opportunities it gives us. Best of luck to you!
I think I might be homeschooling my 6 year old in September, and currently homeschool my 9 year old. Best decision I ever made for my eldest! They get to be kids and enjoy who they are 🫶 best of luck!
@@bearandbluebirdvlogs my youngest said 'maybe when it's free play I can play with my dolls' and I said 'it's free play almost all the time!' She was so happy. Play is so important and one of the things I love most about homeschooling.
@@Homeschooling_mum oh that is so precious 😍 they are kids for such a short time and the system robs them of it 😔 and with all the research around playing is learning we really need to embrace it more 🫶
Hi ma'am! I just finished watching your videos, and I must say, your content is truly amazing! However, I noticed that there's room for improvement in terms of RU-vid Video optimization. By making some tweaks, you can increase your video views, channel traffic, and subscribers. I took the liberty of creating a report on your channel and pinpointed the areas that need improvement. If you're interested, I'd be happy to share it with you.
Why don't u self absorbed women STOP broadcasting every single detail of your children's lives and GIFT them with some damned PRIVACY for a change?! There's an old saying... "DISCRETION is the better part of valor". I can't imagine hell of growing up with every part of my childhood on display for the world. 😨😢😠
Ooh some good ideas that I fancy trying, never mind my little one! When I worked in nursery we always encouraged children to stand up for playdough to help strengthen arms and shoulders, so that would make sense to sit down to strengthen fine motor control 😊
Yeh they are still brilliant. Occasionally they do snap when they are put at an angle (leant against a chair) and then a child accidentally steps on it but it's so easy to fix- just need a small piece of wooden dowling. Definitely worth the money in my opinion x
Hello mam, I hope you are well. I saw your RU-vid channel. Your videos are really nice but very low views in the videos. I'd appreciate your feedback
Hey sweet mama... those are great plans. I love the idea of incorporating those skills into everyday life. I wish you both a great homeschool year. 🙌☺️
I've been homeschooling my 6 year old since Easter. We use reading eggs app. Regarding the other subjects I have been basing it around a books at the moment we are learning nature. My daughter is so much happier. I have been thinking of using the good, beautiful English.
Reading eggs is brilliant for our childrens ages. Daily games of phonics and reading. They take an assessment at the beginning to put them on the right stage. I started with a free 30 day. I highly recommend
Hello. I saw your youtube channel. Your video is much less. And I see that your video is not SEO relatively optimized. Video views will not increase for this. And I have seen many problems with your channel that will solve your RU-vid channel ranking. Below we found your channel issue: Don't have an optimization for your channel. There is a 0% vidIQ SEO score of your video, there is no better result view/ like / comment on the video, Don't have a video tag. No SEO relative channel tag .Title Not Good. Doesn't have a description & meta description. No End screens and Shared on media. Not Thumbnail. Don't have a home screen Channel trailer of your channel.
Hey sweet mama! Just subscribed to your channel. Loved listening to your thoughts. This is the greatest reason we are homeschooling our little girl, to lead her in the way of the Lord. Thank you so much for sharing! 💗☺️
