I appreciate it! I’ve been busy having kids and moving houses and trying to provide! You know, the American dream lol. Still play guitar from time to time but currently pursuing a fitness passion of mine. I appreciate the continued support
I love Duane Allman as much as anyone but I have to point out that this is not a Duane Allman song it's by a band called cowboy and Duane plays the slide on a resonator guitar. It was written by a member of the band and Duane sat in on the recording in 1971.
As many have commented before me, I’ve loved this song since I first heard it on Dianne Allmans Anthology album 50 years ago and thanks to you I’m finally playing it. Big thanks.👍✌🏾
Yes wondering colby you know there is another intro to that song when he had the greg allman band and did midnight rider with a different entirely different intro
What I’m the world is up with that clearly missing note over and over. I feel like Wiley Coyote trying to get the road runner to hit the right note on the explosive piano.
Well, I've got to run to keep from hidin' And I'm bound to keep on ridin' And I've got one more silver dollar But I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider And I don't own the clothes I'm wearing And the road goes on forever And I've got one more silver dollar But I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider And I've gone by the point of caring Some old bed I'll soon be sharing And I've got one more silver dollar But I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider No, I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider No, I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no I'm not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider No, I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no I'm not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider
Actually you only got it partly correct only the Dsus is in the Intro, rest of song he plays a D you left out the EM the F The BM So what u are showing isn't the entire Chord Progression,
I just go from G to C by playing an A chord (I also use a capo) It's not played like that for the actual recording but its easier and it sounds similar to the recording :)
I have to concur wholeheartedly Night Moves is, without a doubt, the best song ever composed. Bob Seger has been my inspiration to learn guitar and still is to this day.
Colby, I say this with all due respect as a public speaking instructor. I know you are nervous, but be aware of your word whiskers, such as OKAY and Alright. It might be healful for you to count all of your okays and train yourself not to use them. If you have time, try and join a Toastmasters club. Another benefit to joining a TMC is your songwriting off the cuff will improve. I hope that helps you. Thanks for your video.
