Dang, after watching it’s crazy knowing that Mukuro probably started to change her mind or have doubts about their plans by the third free time. It’s just so crazy to think about Mukuro obviously being manipulated into doing so many things by her own twin, and then the moment she started to not want to participate in the game and kill or watch the people who she called friends be killed, even in the name of “despair” which she thought is what she craved most, but it was just what junko told her she wanted. And the moment she realized to late that she doubted she could handle what was happening next, and the last thing she did which was something she was told to do, she is murdered. Mukuro was a horrible person, but every action she did was misguided by her own twin. She was a victim just like the others to the killing game she helped make and the real junko. Wether or not junko ever liked Mukuro, and actually killed Mukuro to make Mukuro feel despair as a sort of merciful act of kindness, or just did it for her own despair, or just for the fun of it, Mukuro didn’t want to die. Not like that.
I just can’t respect Celeste as a character. There are quality’s she has that I just do not like in a person. The first thing is absolutely zero loyalty. She said it herself even from day 1 she was planning to kill she just let other people test the waters first. 2nd her motive for murder was entirely self absorbed so at her core she is selfish too. 3rd the murder she committed was the only one in danganronpa 1 that wasn’t spur of the moment and was completely planned out and she killed 2 people one of whom was the most innocent guy in the school. Celeste along with her accomplice I feel are the only one in the danganronpa 1 cast who did not deserve to make it.
Taka wasn’t cut out for the environment he was in. He was too nice and had too much trust in others. Blindly trusting people is the worst thing you can do in a killing game.
I cannot believe she got killed off in chapter 1, essentially just shafted. She was very entertaining even in the shorter time, didn’t even make it to the first trial
1:21 It's weird how Makoto thinks Kyoko may have been picked by chance like him when the academy apparently only chooses one "Ultimate Lucky" student each year. Unless I'm mistaken? I guess this was before they solidified that plot point, either that or Makoto somehow was unaware of this rule. So frustrating though, I really wanna know more about Kyoko's past! Her father is the headmaster, so wtf does that have to do with government secrets?! And why would that require her to live abroad? Also where is her mother, and what happened exactly that caused her hands to be all burned like that? How did trusting someone cause that? And why does she always wear gloves to hide her hands instead of getting a skin graft or something, couldn't she do that? It seems awfully sad to never be able to touch and feel another person, or to pet and feel an animal's fur with your bare hands...
Did you know he was planned to have free time events for his white haired form? Pretty disappointing I would’ve liked to see more of him even if it was that form lol

One of the reasons why the DR1 cast is better. It wasn't filled with spineless characters that act like they're the best friend. Byakuya, Celeste and Kyoko were an exemple of that.
SPOILERS FOR THH CHAPTERS 1, 4 and 6 Makoto at the start: “Sakura would turn me into a human meatball if I accidentally called her a guy” (A few chapters later) Sakura: [gets hit in the head with 2 different bottles by 2 different people] [goes through with a plan to kill herself to give a ragtag group of people she’s known for at most a few weeks from memory a chance of survival solely because she considers them her friends] You really can’t know a person from the surface, huh?

I love Sayaka. A character who is SO MISUNDERSTOOD and got unfairly killed off. I wish she was a survivor of the 1st game.
I honeestly thought seeing his FTEs would make me like him more. And.. they just made my opinion worse about him. He's not trash material, but might as well have him switch with another mid character and the same attitude of his actions would mostly stay through Leon *without* all his occult BS. Still like Hiro more than Leon though, since he has a bunch of more screen time. Which makes sense, a survivor would outweigh the first case's killer.
