It is indeed a good workout! The address is: comming from the town is Via Palazzo Pontificio next to Belvedere (you will see it), coming from the train station of Castel Gandolfo it is Via Antonio Gramsci. Enjoy!

Very interesting old road. I have been in Rome twice but never saw this road unfortunately. At least I saw the Alaska Highway from Dawson Creek (BC Canada) to Fairbanks (Alaska), no walking and no Roman monuments there but 2500 kilometers full of beautiful rough Landscape ! 😃I have given you a sub. I was lucky enough as a young girl in the 70s to visit these gardens at night. The whole place was lit up so beautifully, I can't express how magical it was. Just stunning.
😎💝Wonderful you got to see these gardens! I got to see the coliseum in 1973, now I'm 61 and still trying to find the empty niches we (Mom, Dad and me) saw just outside of Rome.
Ma a Roma ci sono altri bellissimi musei che invece sono trascurati e che sono anche più ricchi di opere d'arte: Museo Nazionale Romano (4 sedi) ,Museo Nazionale Etrusco (2 sedi) , Galleria Nazionale di arte antica di Palazzo Barberini e Corsini, Galleria Borghese, Museo delle Civiltà, Musei Capitolini, ecc.ecc.
