@@thefrizzy87 let it dry really good sand it and then wash it really well dawn dish soap and then dry it see if that helps! When I have this issue it helps for me.
I'm curious. I have a david's tea ceramic mug that isn't dishwasher safe because it has gold sheet on it. If I were to cover my mug in epoxy, would it be dishwasher safe?
If the was round and sparkly that is a tumbler! It’s dark red like a wine color! I’m still Trying to figure out what to put on it. It’s been on the turner ready for a design for about 6 months
Omg thank you for this video!! Ive been trying to figure out if i can just use acrylic paint on tumblers without having to do a massive prep session first! I have so much acrylic paint so thank you!!
This ends up being one of the easiest one to do! Just make sure do have a nice thick coat of wet epoxy when you add the inks! And you will have run off don’t worry about that!
Way to be a one-handed Sally. Lol. When working on tumblers, you eventually learn how to open apply and close the screw on caps of inks. Great job. 😆 🤣 😂
Coffee swirl. Haven’t really liked the colors others have used and I want the cream to look like cream rather than wispy clouds. Maybe just 2 colors like your blue swirl but use a dark brown and white.
Epoxy doesn’t bond well To a flat surface and the tumblers come with a coating on them. Which in the end could result in all your hard work sliding right off

@@mamabairsdesigns3852 actual water slides like you use on the cups but like I was saying 164 scale so it's small but if you can do it I'm interested and possibly later on 125 scale for model cars
@@mamabairsdesigns3852 Thank you so much for responding. :) I'm trying to put together something I can picture in my mind, but I'm not sure is possible. I haven't seen anyone do the jug style waterbottle I want to do (Takeya is one brand). It's already powdercoated white which may be an issue, but on overall color & texture you nailed it on this one. I've tried 5+ glitters & they all have green or red undertones that sneak up on you and also not right glitter size. This water bottle seems like a silly thing, but I'd like to get it right. My only girl (25) is getting married and I've been wanting to do a water bottle with her new name initials monogramed. She always has her Takeya water bottle with her & her style is simple - so the classy look you have here is perfect. This is probably TMI, but after a very nasty divorce, she and I were seperated & alienated from each other for many years. I got sick and my husband of 20 years didn't sign up for marriage with a sick person, but I was too sick to contest. The good news is I made it thru and she is back in my life and we are closer than ever. Thank you for the info. Sorry for long message. I've always been a maker and hope I can pull this off, but may be too much I don't know. If I throw in the towl, do you sell too? Thanks again. - Melinda
@@BeAKindHuman I’m so glad to hear you and your daughter have an amazing relationship now and your healthy again!! With the project you are taking on with it being powder coated I would strip the powder coat off. Epoxy won’t stick to that. Once you do that spray paint it white. You’ll love this color from glitter heart co! It has a beautiful white and it also has the same colors that slightly pop up that make it sparkle just like a diamond does! You’ll see red, green, blue, purple in it it’s beautiful and the only white I use!
